You asked what are they protesting this time. If you had bothered to read even just the first sentence of article you linked, you would have seen, "to protest President Donald Trump's agenda and show the political power they plan to bring to the voting booths".
There were other ideas also present, but that in a nutshell was the main purpose. All of the opinions expressing that they are a bunch of feminazis, etc., are ridiculous. One year ago they protested Trump's inauguration, and it is the one year anniversary of that event, and Trump has even further divided the country and seems bent on taking us into a nuclear war. So that is what they are protesting.
I can't believe I read all of these and wanted to comment so badly so often but wanted to hear everyone's opinions, reasons, understanding and of course assumptions. Let's start with assumptions: the liberal, portion of the American people are under the impression through the media, carefully crafted planning and a whole lot of money from people like George Soros, that this country should continue to move forward and conquer the evil that people who want just to be happy and live their lives under the freedoms and rights that were dictated and agreed upon, by the same leaders who didn't just talk the talk but walked the walk.
I agree with almost nothing that these women actually are marching for. I think they degrade women and they're basically a laughing stock.
I would've loved to march with right to life a few days ago.
Men and women were ment to be equal. Then the balance was disturbed for thousands of years. Before it can be restored, all must understand and all must forgive. This won't happen just yet, no, it won't happen for many years to come. And that's fine. We're still heading there.

I think "tolerate" is poorly chosen word in this context. Respect, that's more like it.
However how respect is defined varies. I respect those who earn it. However does this mean I have to respect each and every woman that comes my way. I know on many accounts I've been called many things by women and men who don't even know me. So should I be required to respect anyone or only those I find are worthy of respect? And what about men as a whole. Yes in the past we were a dominant figure but now many women tend to have that job? If we respect them shouldn't they respect us?

I meant it more on a general note, which is what I thought you are refering to. It sure sounded that way. In question of genders, all of us need to respect both without the need to define one as superior. Respect the qualities of both through all their differences. Balance. Inner and throughout. Unless it's in each and every one of us, it cannot manifest itself on society. Tolerate something means you allow it's existence without interfering though you dislike it or disagree with it. And it does not vary. Is it still the word you really wanted to use? While there is mere tolerance for genders, nothing will really change for better. Now, did you understand what I meant in my original comment? And did I suggest somewhere I am gender supremacist as you felt the need to question me on this matter?
I do not question you thinking you by thinking that you were agender supremacist. I questioned you to see if you actually knew what you were talking about. Many times I see the idea of feminism come up but people don't know exactly what they're talking about they're just spewing out so they may heard online. I was trying to see if you actually knew what you were talking about and we're very smart about this topic. As for tolerate, I do believe sometimes that there are people you cannot like or respect in it you just have to tolerate

If you are fighting for things men can respect and agree on, we will help you win that battle, like men did in the past. All these topless ladies, just look trashy and discredit all the women in these marches and for whatever reasons they marched.

Exactly! The only thing I agree with is the equal wages! Other than that, I am not a feminist. I love being a woman but I’m not going to run outside naked with posters for no reason.

@foreveralone22 We do have equal wages though. The difference in pay is personal choice. Men work more hours, ask for more raises, work holidays more then women, travel further for higher paying jobs, take fewer sick days and are more willing to work over time as well as women choose lower paying proffessions in general. In fact if you look at singel career men vs. single career women, the single women actually out earn single men, its when they get married that men begin to earn more then women as women generally wish to be home more to raise the kids and men want to work more to ensure their kids have everything they need. This has been known for decades now, every legitamate economist has proven this to be true. The wage gap is a myth, at least in that its descriminatory and not just personal choice.
My mom works hard and she isn’t a feminist either. We’re both Republican women. @hellionrhesagereborn thank you for the information, I’ve just hear a bunch of the whole wage gap. Even so, it’s not something I would go protesting for.
@foreveralone22 Yeah, the reason why you hear it is because femininst created the idea of the wage gap to legitamize themselves. They basically took a survey of what men made and a survey of what women made and then seeing that men made more said it must be sexism instead of well all the other reasons I gave you. You have to be real careful and check everything because people who want to manipulate you want you to be ignorant so they can give a random unverified statistic, like the wage gap and use that to convince you to join their group, give them money etc.
I don’t give money to any charity or political foundation at all. Believe me, I’m sick of how everything is called a form of discrimination these days, *breathes the wrong way* “that’s racist”, *wears a dress* “that’s sexist”, *eats a taco* “that’s cultural appropriation”
I’m used to the lazy millennial sin my generation and the ones who protest and complain over every little thing and it’s annoying. Especially when they play a gender, sexuality, race card. “Check your Privilege” okay, my privilege is having trouble paying off my college tuition, other money issues, no boyfriend, etc.
@foreveralone22 I agree, its the oppression Olympics, people striving to instead of being the best person they can be or to make the world a better place, they are striving to be the most oppressed, the biggest victim. Its quite pitiful and its highly destructive to society. But a lot of these groups, the left and feminist, control media and the educational system so they are able to perpetuate many many lies, things that are provably false (for instance women couldn't vote, technically true, but its also true men couldn't either which changes everything. By omitting the fact that men couldn't vote they make what was the poor vs. the rich (who could vote) into men vs. women. Or how they have turned blacks against whites by omitting the fact that slavery predates the written word, Africans had been running the slave trade thousands of years longer then whites had ever been involved and practiced slavery up until the 70s and even 80s in some parts (we are talking 1970s and 80s).

That's why they throw out false statistics (same with the rape statistics, according to them its 1 out of 5 women are raped, according to the actual data however its so low that each year you have less then a 1% chance of getting raped). Question everything (including the stats I gave you, I could be wrong to (I'm not)).
Exactly. Even in Elementary school my parents would tell me the real facts about things because I went to public school until High School so I grew up with liberal stuff. The whole racism thing is honestly getting overrated. I understand that there are still actual racist people in society but nothing will change that, black people already have rights and they have since the civil rights movement around MLK time. Racism goes BOTH WAYS though, white people are made fun of and killed by people of color too. That’s what pisses me off about the left, they’re hypocrites, everything is about something offending someone. I understand what you’re saying about rape, MANY MEN are raped by women but many do not say anything because it makes them seem less manly or they are simply ignored because society doesn’t care about them, only about the women. What about LGBT rape? They won’t talk about that like if a gay man raped a straight man, if the victim filed charges he’d be called homophobic.
@foreveralone22 Oh they had equal rights before that, the problem was the democrats did everything in their power to take it away. That's why you see within ten years of the abolishing of slavery the first black US Marshal (Bass Reed, the lone ranger is supposedly based off of him (fascinating historical figure), first black governors and house representatitve (all republican naturally), and then suddenly we don't get another until the sixties. Its because whites where not against blacks, rich democrats where (and while racism existed against blacks, it existed against the irish, german, Asians, etc. No one was exempt let alone whites) the ones who pushed for those laws.(fitting that it was democrats that created segregation and where obessed with race historically and are still obsessed with race and segregating us, only this time they claim its for the good of the people they are hurting). I'm not republican but the fact is the left has largely always been a terrible group of people.
@foreveralone22 That's also an issue, gay men sexually harassing straight men. I actually had a friend who became very homophobic for awhile, turns out a gay man kept trying to grope him even after he told the guy he was straight and not interested. Finally he flipped out on the guy, quite understandably, and then was accused by the man who sexually harassed him and others of being homophobic which is exactly what made him hate gay people for awhile. What the left is doing is highly destructive and the sad part is, most who push this stuff , at least at the top, know it. That's what post modernism is, the idea that everything is irrelevant, that's why they try to destroy our past and our culture, that way they can try to recreate it in their image. Its just going to cause more destruction though.

For example, people are so butthurt that they’re changing classic literature because of a certain word. I read “To Kill a Mockingbird” a few years ago, great novel but now they’re going to omit n** just because its offensive? It’s from the time period that it was written and took place in. The point of the book was to not judge people by their appearances as shown by the black man (forgot his name) and Boo Radley (who was white). Well I guess they can change Hitler’s “Mein Kamp” to praising the Jews because what’s there now is mean to Jews.
@foreveralone22 They won't realize what they have done because they have been completely indoctrinated, its not entirely their fault (at least not for all of them), its been sixty years of the news, schools and Hollywood (plus special interests groups and people like George Soros funding all of them) telling them to think this way. Most didn't have the chance to even start formulating their own opinions before they where bombarded with this propaganda. Thankfully the internet has allowed for people to gather information on their own as well as vent their true feelings which was not the case before. Because of this we don't have the asymmetry of information, that is when you know something is false but because you don't know who else agrees you keep silent for fear of reprisal (that's why dictators are able to hold power, most hate them its just they don't know that and so they don't act on their feelings until something happens that shows that many others feel the same way).
@foreveralone22 But currently we are doing a good job of pushing back against it so who knows, we might stand a chance (historicaly this is how most empires fall but unlike before we have access to information, a constitution that protects our rights and we are not being held back by the asymetirical information.

Exactly!!! I read Huck Finn in school and I enjoyed it. The racism wasn’t really the main focus though, but Jim was in it a bunch. I honestly don’t care, I’m done with school, but I think it’s just ridiculous how they made a big deal over something so irrelevant
@foreveralone22 Well the racism was actually to point out that it was wrong. Mark Twain was a huge anti racist, he despised it with a passion. So the irony is they are attacking the things that have the message that racism is wrong, all in the name of "equality". Its absurd.

For one thing, they're protesting the fact that the president openly bragged about assaulting women, and he's still president. Also, they're protesting against giving employers the right to not include contraception in health insurance plans, and the efforts to cut off access to abortion. Other issues involve paid parental leave, the gender disparity in employment and pay, rape culture, and the lack of sex education in many states. These are all valid things to be protesting. Regarding the picture, there are some who believe that since men don't have to cover their nipples in public, women shouldn't have to either. Not everyone in these protests agree with that.
Removal of parental leave ~is~ gross, gender disparity echoes in dialogue for ages but is mostly a combated (and often evoking of dramatic responses) yet fruitless subject once met with someone that knows what they're talking about, I don't even understand what rape culture is, if that's the word for when you're a drunk retard stumbling into the u r b a n alleys in the A. M. and what the actual fuck do you mean by sex education? Why are you so adamant on having children know how to sex? Have you even seen these hyper-inflated classes you're talking about? Do you forget that health class always existed? Either you've completely fallen to that because you want to be a good guy and progressive or you're insidiously disgusting.

Well, this doesn't really seem like it's doing any harm. I mean they're just marching for things that are already legal and rights they already have.. at least where I live. Nothing to get worked up about. Let people do what people want to do as long as it really isn't physically hurting anyone.
