Do you think it is fair that some people get to be millionaires from doing nothing?

pewdie pie pays his taxes just like most people, but all he does is play video games online and make funny jokes online. Do you think it is fair that he's so insanely famous just for doing that?

  • of course it's fair. That's the way the world works. People want to watch their content and they sell time to advertisers and get paid based on the number of views. If people didn't like it, they wouldn't watch. Then they wouldn't get paid. Simple as that. I don't like it because they didn't really have to do any work to get where they are. They just play games, or use their bodies to get viewers. Unlike professional athletes who spend thousands of hours in the gym, and training... these guys training is literally playing video games.

  • Well if parents were successful and someone inherits it, it happens.

Now if they get buy robbing a bank , not legit. Porn , not legit. Gangsters , not legit.

Most that win a million usually lose it and end up worse off.

    • Do you think it is fair that a beautiful girl could masterbate on cam and make thousands of dollars a month, while another girl who did everything "right" struggles to pay her rent and college loan?

    • I don't agree with it, but if stupid people want to pay , it is what it is.

  • They worked for what they have and to reach where they are.

However once people reach a certain level in their career they do less work and hire someone to do more work, I understand why but think the person doing more work should be paid more.

Also there should be a limit to how rich 1 person can be, then again if I were rich I'd be saying something completely different.

  • In the event of a nuclear Holocaust, Pewdie and Oprah will starve to death. We will need hunters, gatherers and builders. The rest will just be a waste of space.

  • Well I think it’s stupid that people find entertainment value in that and I think it’s stupid that celebrity status is so highly prized but other people don’t think that... so as long as people find value in it and he has both the foresight and capability to deliver that value then he earned it regardless he stupid I think it is.

If it was literally that easy, just being funny and blabbing or whatever everyone would be doing it and making money and not everyone does.

  • I think someone who gets famous on Youtube unless they are some kind of controlled opposition truth speaker who the government is funding they deserve everything they make on there it is called capitalism same as all these Uber Drivers these days they are doing what they have to to survive and if someone is entertained by a Youtube channel and they can get paid like it is a TV show well then good for them.

  • If they actually do nothin, then yeah that is unfair.. But I mean like others have said.. Life is unfair.. Also with Pewdiepie.. While, I do agree that I don't see the point, or creativity in his content, and that others with more creative outlets deserve his spot, I do think he puts the work in.. Maybe more than we see.. I guess..

  • It's not fair.. life isn't fair.. take the list of the richest women in the world.. the top 10, only 2 of them actually worked for the money they have.. the rest either inherited it or won it in divorce... that late one, winning the money in divorce is the one that pisses me off the most..

  • Nope, I'm sure he does something or people wouldn't like him. Either way, snow flake jealousy and butt hurt are a lot of what's wrong with the world.

  • Nowadays people use "hard work" to look down on anyone even when they actually had a lot of involved prvilege on the way.

I'd rather have someone admitting that they got rich by not doing hard work, as I don't buy the idea that any of them got where they got by sweating real hard as they like to sell.

  • A lot of people consider PewDiePie to be an entertainer/comedian too. He's been consistent with his content for years. Anyway, life isn't fair, nothing will ever be fair, and I think good for the people who are able to become big doing something they enjoy.
