Yeah... The reason I'M so riled up about the privilege thing is I live in fucking Canada, easily the most welcoming, equal, and liberal country in the world. Well, actually, Europe has some countries above Canada in the "most liberal" list.
Bud I’m from Canada too I feel ya hard, I’m from Calgary where feminists protested a showing of the movie the red pill because it supports men’s rights 🙄 Canadian feminism is bad right now
Indeed, and that is the sad part.

They aren't mutually exclusive. I don't think the spotlight should be moved towards men, I think we need another spotlight. It's not an either or. Why should we just focus on the struggles women face?
I'm not asking for a spotlight, I'm asking for everyone to by in it.
Yes. There ARE real struggles that women face, exclusive of men. There are real struggles that men face, exclusive of women. Also, the vast majority of feminists aren't "feminazis"... But, as usual, "a few bad apples spoil the bunch"...
Preemptive reply: If you need examples of struggles faced exclusively by each sex, you don't really care about the struggles, just angry finger pointing. If you did care, you'd already know.
That's what I've been trying to say!!! And, dude, there's literally no reason to be a feminist. Egalitarian actually means equality, feminism means the improvement of women's rights in a patriarchal society.
And, I get what you're trying to say, but I focus on EVERYONES problems. Not just my own.
That's fine for you to focus on everyones problems. It doesn't make it wrong or even lesser to focus on the rights of a particular subset of people.
I get your point entirely, I can see it, but they say they are for the "social, economic, and political equality between the sexes".
Or women are finally putting themselves first and that just pisses guys off who think women should care about men over all...
@DunceInAwhile No... That's not what we think. We think EVERYONE should be talked about equally.
Ohh well.. Good luck with that..
Go up and read my comment on the initial post...
@DunceInAwhile "Oh, women are putting women first!" Feminism says it's for equality, and it should act that way instead of belittling men.
