Basically, the autonomous special state status that was given to J&K has now been revoked and its been bifurcated into 2 districts (Ladakh region and J&K districts).

On a side note, hilarious, how Indian media includes Aksai Chin, Gilgit Baltistan and POK in the map.

Can't find a bona fide map of Internationally recognised Kashmir with the bifurcation:

The revoke of autonomy is defined by Article 370, As for abrogation of Article 35a, it used to define "permanent resident" of the states and gives them certain exclusive rights.
