Why are food service workers demanding such high tips?

On social media at least, they do. They make posts saying stuff like:
”$10 ISN’T A TIP! 🤷‍♂️
$20 ISN’T A TIP! 🤷‍♂️
IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD A TIP THEN DON’T EAT OUT!”

Ok.. what? I’d understand why you would say that if the bill’s total exceeded $200, but for a $50 bill or lower you can’t expect the patron to tip you over $20.

If my pizza costs me $20, I’m not tipping the pizza delivery person half or the whole price of my pizza. If that makes me “cheap”, then your opinion is irrelevant because you’re being irrational.
