Correction: "In 1940, the ratio was 159.4workers:1retiree. Then, it fell to 41.9:1 in 1945.By 1950, that fell to 16.5:1.By 1960, it fell further to 5.1:1.By 1970, it fell to 3.7:1 and stabilized to ≈3:1… until 2009, when it fell to exactly 3:1.In 2013, fell further to 2.8:1. That was the LAST statistic on the matter released to the public.https://www.ssa.gov/history/ratios.htmlWhere is it now‽ WHY won't they report it to the public?"
That is what you hear from the left
@Zerstörer That is what I hear from Republicans. They want to cut more taxes. What else do they talk about besides pretending immigrants are stealing all of the good jobs. haha

Well, I guess the Rep plan is to throw your mom off social security so she will fend for herself. They don't care.
Yes you should have to take care of yourself not just get free stuff because you failed to say any money over your whole lifetime. Do you see how everything is an emotional argument everyone will be better off financially if it wasn't for social security the only people who won't be are the stupid people who spend every dime they have the bitch about not having money
They keep hurting their own so I don't know why they keep proposing cuts to social security. That will hurt them next year.
