First of all, psychopaths aren't necessarily bad/evil people to begin with. Psychopaths tend to have a high intelligence, therefore they're well aware of limitations of their actions and consequences -- although it depends on surroundings, mostly society & environment. A psychopath born and raised in a decent environment can learn to control his impulses -- not for the sake of morality, but due to unwanted consequences. Typically they start to use their increased intelligence to build a successful career. That awesome doctor everyone's praising? He might be secretly a psychopath. If a psychopath is living in not such good society, then there's a strong possibility of him becoming a bad guy later in life (starting from late teens).Second is that it's both nature and nurture, but mostly nature. Bad genetics can result in being born a psychopath (a parent being exposed to radiation, for example; being conceived while at least one of the parents was under the influence of drugs/alcohol; mother using all sorts of drugs during pregnancy; mother experiencing high stress [such as being beaten, abused in some way etc.] during pregnancy all the time; can be inherited if one of the parents is a psychopath), but it most likely won't manifest until late teens. Most disorders don't manifest until teens/late teens.Overwhelming majority of psychopaths are born and their brain structure is different -- therefore virtually no way to cure it.However, psychopath can also be created by an environment -- mainly by social environment. Nurtured psychopaths are quite rare though.Being exposed to ultra-violence since early age (such as being a child of some African warlord who kills people in sadistic ways for shits and giggles) will definitely influence a child and will produce a nurtured psychopath -- a highly dangerous psychopath. However, in this case it's more of a trauma and upbringing, not genetics, therefore (although it will take a lot of effort) such psychopath can be cured.
Okay this question is just inaccurate. Not all psychopaths/sociopaths are ‘bad people’ if they were we’d be in a whole lot of trouble due to how common they are. Secondly it’s proven you are born a psychopath there is no way to become one, whereas some people are born with the capacity to become a sociopath due to a gene they have but it must be triggered by environmental factors before maturity is reached.
I think it's their parents. With how fucked society it is and everyone's struggle for money, both parents need work. They struggle themselves and can't leave nothing to their children so don't have the time to worry about them. The only chance they had was their grandparents. I mean shit I got it lucky, my dad worked away till I was 10 and my mom was stuck alone looking after me and my sister. Lucky my family loved me and I doubt I'll struggle.
I think at least a small part of it is how your brain develops over time. Because your brain, like the rest of your body, grows and develops over time. I think that plays a part. And it also depends hugely on environmental factors, how you were raised and the people you meet.
Sorry, I didn't really answer the question. Obviously, you can't whether you are good or bad when born, but your physical growth and experiences through life will develop the good and bad, whichever you learn more towards depends on your experiences.
Everyone is born bad, some worse than others and have flaws that manifest its self once the child grows up a bit. As far as psychopaths are concerned, I personally think a demon has infected and greatly influenced their mind to some degree because to be a psychopath you have to be extremely evil that bypasses human norm.
Yes, some are born bad, and some are products of society.
People are born without any concept of good and bad
Psychopaths are typically born like they are, sociopaths are the type that usually weren't always that way.
It has already been proven that you can only be born as a psychopath. Sociopaths on the other hand are that way because of their upbringing and what not.
Little bit of both. There are people born with anomalies and brain issues that can leave them more capable of causing harm. Then of course the nurture where abuse and a negative environment as a child can steer many people into a negative direction.
Naah we get made. Psychopaths are created by other psychopaths.
its the company you keep and what you learn at the dinner table
I believe people are born neutral, who only look out for themselves
It's both. Genes and environment ---->nature-nurture debate
I think it is a combination of nature and nurture. There is definitely a genetic component for some. I think that has been well proven. But I also think a person who is raised under adverse conditions can become a psychopath as well.
Product of environment has a lot to do with it
I firmly believe they were born that way.
no it's how there parents bring them up
No, it's all happen through people around him/her
