Last thing and then I’ll shut the hell up, lmao: recreationally, I think it’s ridiculous to outlaw it, if nothing else than because we can walk to the corner store and buy alcohol and cigarettes, which are EXTREMELY harmful, at least over the long term, and in the case of alcohol, much more potentially IMMEDIATELY harmful consequences with alcohol than weed. I’ve seen car accidents, fights, you hear of spousal/child abuse, and just basically rendering people incapable of normal activities. That doesn’t happen with weed, in my EXTENSIVE experience, both personal and observational. I could smoke a joint right now and just go about my day completely fine. Six shots of booze? Cancel my afternoon appointments lmfao. Weed being illegal anywhere alcohol and tobacco is legal is simply nonsensical. If all three were outlawed, I’d agree with that more, not that I agree with it, but it’s pretty ridiculous that executives at some Fortune 500 companies are probably drinking bourbon in their corner offices while negotiating business deals, but a guy chillin’ by himself in a park somewhere smoking a doob is “breaking the law.” Just lmfao.
The truth is, your opinion has no fucking business being used to ban other people from cannabis. Yes, your opinion will be deemed unpopular. Not because you don't like it (when most people these days do). But because you've still got this prohibition idea going. This whole "I don't like it, and that means nobody else should be allowed to like it either" thing. It's so crazy.
@holograph enjoy early dementia and potential lung damage... all i can say then
That doesn't bother me. All most of us want is to be allowed to do our thing in peace. I'm never going to say you have to smoke it yourself.
@holograph Disagree. Her opinion is more popular that you may ever imagine but above all much more than you are ready to accept because it is the opinion of reason

P. S. Have you all learned of how it was even made illegal? Look up the racist piece of crap Harry Anslinger. The short version of his story is that he was a racist asshole who didn't like that some black men were starting to date white women. And cannabis was getting popular. Not JUST with black people, but with some of them. Some of them were sharing it with white women. Harry Anslinger went in front of Congress, started talking about a "new" drug called "Marijuana" and made all these insane claims about it, scared all the stupid Congressmen into banning it. timeline.com/harry-anslinger-racist-war-on-drugs-prison-industrial-complex-fb5cbc281189by the way it's not called Marijuana. It's Cannabis. Marijuana is a fake name that Anslinger used. To even be calling it by that name is wrong.
The " gateway drug " crap is just BS propaganda , financed by Big Pharma
They already do
@-Asca- People are so stupid and immature! They are arrogant too and some use that stuff just to be cool. Just like smoking was popular when I was younger. It's really nasty! BUT I'm not a cop and I'm not their mom/God/their boss so I guess if they want to ruin their health or get high all the time, that's their perogative! Just hope then for them that they don't get caught!
But what constitutes abuse, exactly? Its effects are very different from alcohol and hard drugs. Especially when you take more and more. Like with alcohol you drink more, you get more drunk, your decisions get more impaired, eventually you'll black out, might even forget the night. You might do some really crazy/dumb stuff. That's not how cannabis works. You smoke too much cannabis, you will probably just fall asleep. Your decision making won't get significantly impaired like with alcohol or other drugs.
@holograph I remember my ex giving me too much weed and I ended up overdosing, feeling dizzy and throwing up. I also felt the world was slowing down! It was a trip! Like literally! I did NOT like it at all lol. And it smells distinct the marijuana! I know that people just do it to be cool. Some maybe for legitimate medical reasons (and I do agree with you that I don't know honestly why they would be illegal - in California it was recently legalized), BUT everything in moderation I say! Lol :P
@SueAnon84 Same thing happened to me once. You need to know your limits. And unlike cigarettes which are basically useless weed does put you in a drunk-like state that can be awesome if you don't overdose. So it's the same as with alcohol.
ABetter HIGH than you here, dear. xx
Why should it be regulated as heavily as alcohol? The effects and risks on the body are sooooo much lower and alcohol is soooo heavily regulated. It's fine to not want to do it, or to find the smell gross. But why should it be regulated so heavily?
@holograph whoa got a stoner here 😂
