Well put. Its refreshing seeing bright minds with basic common sense on GAG.
That's even more ridiculous. You want to separate a child from their parents?
Yes. The parents are criminals.
If I committed a crime chances are I'd loose my daughter. These people are no different.
Ship both parents and anchor baby to their native land. Period.
You're the real idiot here.
You're the only that thinks it's ok for foreigners to hop a boarder, fly in on vacation and give birth to children and their children should automatically should be citizens and receive citizenship rights.
I don't if you were as smart as you though you were you wouldn't be posting such bullshit lmao but please do keep going these and your hail jesus rants can be enjoyable.
You said you "don't" but your second reply you said "yes" You love contradicting yourself.
You just don't understand anything but don't worry most people like you are the same.

Also the people who come to visit during their 8 month pregnancy just to deliver the baby and go back home to their country. The baby is raised and lives in their mom and dad's country and hardly ever steps foot or even visited the U. S. at all but still has citizenship of the U. S. by default.
Chinese are notoriously bad about that.
You beat it me to it by 2 minutes, yeah, but they certainly are.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy I agree with that. Also, the fact that these people come here, have their baby and bugger off back home WITHOUT paying their bills (yes, foreigners aren't allowed to use the NHS). It really fucken annoys me. Fucken health tourists...
That has to change in my opinion. A baby shouldn't be a citizen because a woman from china decided to get on a plane and visit 8 month deep into her pregnancy and deliver a baby in the U. S. with U. S. citizen rights.
Why not? At some point, each one of our ancestors decided to get on a plane or boat and deliver a baby in the United States. Neither you nor I are exceptions to this. I'm guessing the primary reason you're in favor of changing things is xenophobia, plain and simple.
I'm in favor because it doesn't make any logical sense for a country to have to deal with such scenarios. Think of it as you're starting a country with your own people, and then comes thousands of people from other areas which you didn't invite to your land and they start dropping babies like roaches and demanding their babies are citizens and are entitled to your country's constitution, rights and benefits.
That approach makes sense if your political philosophy is deeply rooted in ethnic tribalism. If, on the other hand, your intent was to create a free nation that adheres to standards of living you feel applies to all people... then it makes no sense to base citizenship on the nationality of your parents.
I'm the former. I'm super tribal.
And? Your point is weak.
