Hahahahaha he got you, hook line and sinker.
You think one person can fix all the problem?
@HungLikeAHorsefly haha, you're an idiot who doesn't know shit about politics. Nice comment by the way, revealed your "wealth" of knowledge...
A single person, being a great leader, can fix many of the problems within a society.
@mattdzz I was just laughing at the fact that you seem to think the weak little man in the White House is bold somehow. There's a fine line between boldness and stupidity, my friend. As for my knowledge of politics... well, not gonna argue with you there. I just know a simp when I see one and DJT is about as beta as they come.
@HungLikeAHorsefly So you're ascribing internet troll terminology to a real-estate mogul who became the President of the US... And you're saying that he is weak? Please walk me through the mental gymnastic you did to come to that conclusion?
Does a strong, secure man throw temper tantrums on a regular basis? Does he call people names like he's in kindergarten? Is he okay with not using correct grammar or spelling when he writes - something literally everyone else in the world who is a professional at anything does? Does he get triggered when somebody says something he finds threatening? No, of course not. This is the behavior of a childish man who isn't in control of his own emotions. If you aren't in control of yourself, then you sure as hell aren't in control of anything else. He's a 70+ year old boy, not a man.He does put on a good show for other boys, though. He's quite popular with people who are just like him. Which I imagine is why you like him. I mean, you came right out the gate assuming I don't know anything about politics, which aside from being irrelevant to this particular subject, is a logical error.
@HungLikeAHorsefly First, knowledge of politics is germane, as someone claiming preference for a political actor is based on personality flaws should understand sociology/ political science to make such a claim for it to have much credibility.Second, your assertions that anyone who loses their temper is somehow weak, and perhaps in your estimation childish isn't equivalent to them being a simp/ beta, who are defined as those who allow themselves to be taken advantage of, which Trump clearly does not.Of the big 5 personality traits, agreeableness is one most easily ascribed to "betas/simps" and not even his greatest detractor would label Trump agreeable.
If we were laying out the full spectrum of why I think Trump is weak and you don't, then yes broad knowledge of politics would be germane. However, we're discussing his personality. At no point did I say or even imply that his personality alone is why I think he's a bad president. That's another error in logic on your part. My definition of a beta male does include being taken advantage of, but again that's only one characteristic. Others include not being able to control your emotions, jealousy, irrational anger, aggressiveness without reason, feeling threatened all the time, etc. Trump fits this mold quite nicely. And if you want to limit it to just being taken advantage of, then we can talk about Russia and North Korea.I'll admit maybe the word "beta" isn't the right one, though. It sure as hell isn't "alpha", but what would be better? Of the Big 5 personality traits, I think the one you could ascribe to Trump the most would be Neuroticism. He's an insecure, nervous little guy. How would you describe that?
@HungLikeAHorsefly Never made that statement; so, logical error to conflate my point with another's you may have heard. Let's skip pointing out logical errors, as it become rote to start stammering out Latin on a Saturday.I agree, beta isn't the correct word, but on the point of NK and Russia, do you remember years back when Bidden laughed Paul Ryan off the stage when he said Russia was our greatest geopolitical foe, during a debate? Then their "reset" turned simply into a Russian grab of Crimea. That's far more taken advantage of than any coziness our countries have shared since then. For NK, we have been playing yo-yo for decades, and Trump has been the only one to put us towards the brink of war, not give into their demands, etc. and you would still consider him comparably weak?I'm still trying to find the connection, but on personality, it seems you're tailoring your definition to fit, as opposed to the opposite. Correct?
Trump took decisive action on NK that yielded absolutely nothing in the way of positive outcomes. He made a big show of it and in the end, NK went on doing what they do. So the whole NK scenario - the whole of the Trump administration's activity on NK - is either all smoke & mirrors or he was simply ineffectual in getting the job done. Russia is a different story. He made friends with them by bending over and letting them do whatever they like. That's not bold, decisive action - that's just getting cucked by another world leader. Something Trump excels at. See, Trump is bold - there's no doubt about that - but a leader he is not. Weak men talk loud and beat their chest while true leaders go out and accomplish things.
@HungLikeAHorsefly I think a comparison is more reasonable in regard to NK, as no US President has elicited more out of them than Trump, and short of invading them we're not going to get outright acquiescence. Russia. Why is it axiomatic to think Trump "bent" over in any way for Russia? Sure Putin played to Trump's vanity by flattering him, but at this point we're as similar in values to Russia as we are to France; so, why do people insist we are to be enemies ad infinitum, decades after the cold war?Now you're just being stupid. Not even on MSNBC do you see Trump back down, or play second fiddle to another world leader. They have found ways to flatter him to get on his good side, but this hasn't altered policy (e. g. Macron in France recently).Accomplishment: Record economic growth, record low unemployment across demographics, revitalizing and remoralizing our military, and treating multi-national corporations in the same manner Teddy Roosevelt did when he reigned in the robber barons and tycoons.
And by the way it’s democrats who are desperate... for everything free. They actually believe that any of the Democratic candidates will get everything free for them. Lol
