Why do so many people think it’s weird to do ANYTHING on your own?

So a while back a coworker overheard that I was doing circuit training drills during lunch outside in the roof of the parking garage.

She was so judgy asking “by yourself”? I said no, with a trainer and other people in the class.

She was like, “okay because that would just be weird.”

She doesn’t exercise much but I take her point. Without the trainer yelling at you to most it would look weird, but why?

I missed my Monday workout due to the holiday so today I went to a vacant space in the building and did my workout improve style. No trainer but favorite exercises and cardio.

No one could see me but I thought is this “odd”?

I know it’s not odd at all but only because no one could see me. Why does other people seeing you push yourself to the brinks in a workout solo make it more weird than a workout indoors that is exactly the same?

is it like singing in a car when no one can see opposed to when they can?
Why do so many people think it’s weird to do ANYTHING on your own?
