We hate the things we don't want for example I hate dirty people. Does't mean I want that the most.
@Babygirl_S to quote myself "but you often hate the thing you want the most." It doesn't say always.
People praise what they want and hate what they don't want. That's what mostly happens.
@Babygirl_S Think of it like jealousy. People talk badly about the most popular people in school because they are jealous and secretly want that level of popularity for themselves so they take it out on those people and start rumors and say they are horrible people.Countries do the same. People do the same. It doesn't matter what country or what people, if someone wants power, beauty, money, popularity---you OFTEN talk down to the thing or country or people because you want what they have or at the very least to be on top so you can rule or make the rules in life.
People don't hate the popular people. The majority likes the popular people. They hate the ones that are bad people. At least, that's how it happens in my culture. Obviously, don't know much about how it happens in the west but based on the movies it does seem to be a cruel society for everyone to live in.
@Babygirl_S People both love and hate popular people. Take someone like Beyonce---she has a whole fan club based on people liking her, but there are also tons of people who hate her and try to tear her or any other popular celebrity down. You cannot be a popular person without also having a team of people who hate you because they either flat out dislike who you are or they want what you have. It doesn't actually mean that that popular person is a bad person or they've done anything wrong. That may not translate to you personally because of your culture or what not, but it's true. The same goes for countries. There are loads of people who love the US who are not from this country but we could find just as many who hate it for a dozen different reasons. Maybe you grew up being taught the US was bad, maybe you came here once and had a terrible experience, maybe you only believe the bad stories on the news, maybe you hate American values or the way people live here. Could be literally anything, but the same could be said of any country, east, west, south, north----you can be popular and well liked but that doesn't come without a set of people who equally dislike you even if you've done nothing to them personally. Hope that makes sense to you.
The culture isn't innocent. Simple as that. I don't have to visit the US to know how racist they are. Gag is enough to tell me.
@Babygirl_S No one country is innocent but GAG is but a tiny microcosm as is the internet of certain people and not everyone on GAG from the US or elsewhere is racist----not by a long shot. Every country has it's racists's and extremists, but one must be very careful with anyone from any country with saying "everyone is that" because you know that's not true and it leads to a cyclical trap of them vs us which I personally do not subscribe to because it creates enemies where there could be friendships.

What about the chinese , mongolian , japanese , or ottoman empire? None asks for payback from the mongolian people because Genghis Khan conquered all of Asia anf killed millions. None talks abouth the death Arabs and Turks caused to each other and South East Europe with their empires... But it is always the white man's fault.
Yeah actually they do
Well can you cite something to vack uo your claim?I only know abouth the Japanese empire. What about the others?
Traveling through the Middle East and East Asia you’ll eventually find they hold grudges against one another for past invasions etc.
We have a superior economic system for sure
@Twenty2 Because he’s a terrible person who insults everyone and is a racist.
