Why do feminists just casually assume that men have no 'emotional labour'?

Isn't it narcissistic to just presume that only women have emotional labour?

They make it sound so empathetic but it's absurd. I was abused by my father. The kind of person who would literally slap you in the face and go crying to his fan club (litterally) about the 'emotional strain' I caused him. Forcing him to do this. Like a big toddler.
At my psychologist my mother would just cry about her own problems. And the emotional labour I caused her. And I would always have to apologize to my parents. "Sorry" was me until recently.

This assumption that I have no feelings, and that my parents had all the feels, was damaging for a long time until my first trip began the road to reevaluation.

I always felt like feminists were doing this same bullshit.
