In this - a passing affinity with truth telling, a problem keeping his pants on among women not his wife, etc, - Mr. Trump resembles no one so much as the former President husband of the woman he defeated. Trump and Clinton are the same moral/legal coin, and in this if the nation is displeased with Mr. Trump it has no one to blame but itself and its smiling at the hijinks of Mr. Clinton. It was there that the precedent was set.To thus say that Mr. Trump is the worst President in history demonstrates both a grotesque ignorance of not just the past but the recent past. It also shows a stunning lack of perspective and a blindness to the nation's broad cultural sloth and hypocrisy."The fault, dear Brutus, lies not with our stars, but within ourselves." So said the Bard. It applies here. Mr. Trump is by no means a figure to be desired, except perhaps in relative terms. After all, a Warren presidency will merely add lousy economics to the envy and resentment that are Mr. Trump's stock in trade. For his part, it is quite clear that Mr. Biden has his own ethical problems and is similar to the President in his lack of verbal dexterity. You "cannot make straight the crooked timber of humanity." A realistic appreciation of where we have been is the best antidote to the hysteria that is poisoning the cultural waters at the moment. In that, no, Mr. Trump is no gem. However, we have - and could - do worse. The problem being that the object of the game is to do better but the country cherishes to much its populist vanity to make that likely to happen any time soon.
Type-o: This sentence: " His foreign policy can be rather shrewd, but tend to be tactically inept and far to focused on his own person."Should read: " His foreign policy can be rather shrewd, but TENDS to be tactically inept and far TOO focused on his own person."Also, I noticed a few other type-o's for which I apologize but will not attempt to correct here.

I actually thought Reagan wasn't too bad!
Yeah, that was the "act." He was the president that started the policies of wealth and political divisiveness, and he did it with something like a 70% approval rating. It was the first time the office of the President was treated as an advertisement platform with a paid actor, and it worked pretty much flawlessly for the money hoarders who hired him.
Uhh Regan kinda ended the cold war dude. He also got Iran to release hostages. Also got the American economy roaring. You remember the gas shortages during Carter. I do. Reagan was great for the country. Now Clinton he's the one who decimated out manufacturing but hey I get to buy cheap tools at harbor freight that I need to buy again and again as they are of poor quality but hey NAFTA free trade!!!
It doesn't count as a roaring economy if he had to double the debt just to pay for his tax cuts to the rich. That's more of a scream than a roar.As for ending the cold war 1) it doesn't seem ended 2) what you call ended was inevitable as people grow up anyway 3) the USSR collapsed for other reason having little to do with us. The Chernobyl incident basically bankrupted it, for example. Anyway, don't try to drag Clinton into this. I'll happily admit he was every bit as much an actor as Reagan was - that is, in fact, my whole point. Reagan showed how effective it could be, and the cash hoarders have been doing it ever since.
Really? Cause people hate him? Why do they hate him? You ever ask that? Or do you just jump in with the crowd?
Some just hate him because that's what others do, that is true and you are right on that point. But I thought let's give him a chance, then I read about things he have done, things he have been charged for, how he have treated people not just in the past but even now. More and more things comes to light that compel me to agree with the people who hates him. He is a terrible human being.
You read lies, propaganda. Spin. See it for what it is. Its ridiculous the faux outrage. I dont need a moral perfect person as leader of our country. I have a priest to help me live a moral life. My president should be ruthless for my country. He doesn't treat people nice. Go! What are we in pre school. I'm going to give you a clue. The world isn't a nice place. Maybe your town is but the world isn't wasn't and will never be.
Go shoot something, I don't care
Or they just thought there was no point arguing for such an obvious case.
Yeah there's no point arguing that the earth is flat, it's an obvious fact.
many comments have been removed including mine!
@coachTanthony Figures, but they can't remove the votes
True! last ANON question I will be commenting on.
I said the same thing but my comment was removed! LOL
@coachTanthony huh... I wonder why? I mean especially since Jackson and Taft truly were objectively worse.
All I said was Trump is the best president ever! LOL I reported it so we will see what happens! It's weird people would remove harmless comments!
@coachTanthony People really don't like the guy; they want to impeach him. I'm not sure that I understand why.
Either way I win!
Trump wanted to dig a moat on the Mexican border and fill it with snakes and alligators. When he was told this was impossible he demanded to be shown what it would cost. After public servants had to go through the lunacy of calculating this shit he asked if he could just have immigrants shoot instead. After being told this was illegal he asked if they could shoot them in the legs to "slow them down".The only saving grace of Trumps presidency is that not even his administration is taking him seriously or things would have gone to shit in a much bigger way.
Nixon was really bad!
If i'm not wrong about what i wrote about Nixon, NOTHING (that i know of) that Trump has done is even close.
I totally agree. I wonder what the poster has to say about all of this! Haven't see any replies!
@coachTanthony Maybe she's busy. And isn't Clinton a REALLY big part of why that country is down the shitter economcially?
I actually did pretty well under the Clinton years!
@coachTanthony How well you did is irrelevant if he ruined the country irreparably.
Well if he wouldn't of practically eliminated our intelligence community in such a way , 911 may not have happened. So I agree with you there!
"isn't Clinton a REALLY big part of why that country is down the shitter economcially?"Which country? The US did pretty well (the national debt would have been paid off by next year, iirc), so I wonder if you mean Mexico?
@goaded Oh right, i think i got it mixed up. I think i got it opposite. He didn't mess up the economy, his ideas was what saved it, right?
I don't really know how much a president really affects the economy, but they raised taxes when things were going well, and started to pay down the national debt, with no negative effect on the economy (see also Kansas and California over the last decade). Then Bush did tax cuts.
@goaded Well they can fix stuff during that time, get more jobs etc.
I really wonder what people who say that sort of thing are basing it on.
What on earth do you do for a living?
And do you actually get things built, or do you just pretend to?Seriously, I'm sure there are successful construcion managers who aren't hated.
Yeah. I get them done I'm also a civil engineer who worked in the trades as a young man going through college. What I'm saying is when I hold contractors to their contracts, getting them to provide the right materials, installed the right way they dont like it. Instead of providing stainless steel components of the system as the specifications call for, they much rather I let them paint ferrous metal silver. Yeah. It's not going to happen. "Why are you being a dick?" Cause it's my job.
OK, that sounds fair. Do those contractors get to bid for future contracts? They don't deserve the chance.Do you really think Trump is more like you than the contractors? I don't understand why you would. I mean, he's well known for not paying what he agreed to.
You know I hear that all the time. "He didn't pay his contractors!" Good heavens that's horrible. Actually it's not. See if you ever had to deal with big union contractors in NYC you would understand. No one ever asks why he didn't pay them. Maybe the couldn't perform as per terms of the contract? Hmmm. Maybe the did shitty work? Would you pay for shitty work? Would you pay for something you didn't want or maybe didn't finish on time as agreed and now due to the contractors being late you lose clients, potential rent? People who say this are asses. In nyc not paying shitty contractors is a badge of honor. You dont pay for what you didn't get. Imagine being forced to. Lol. People just dont get it. he's not to be trifled with. That's why he's good. You want someone who is a push over. "Hey buddy I didn't finish the job and I used material that you didn't want, but I installed it all incorrectly and damaged some other peoples work doing so. It took me way longer than I said it would so now you have to pay me more for my time."Yeah ok. GTFO!!!
You make it sound as if he only stiffed them when they did bad work. How about if you have a contract to supply a number of grand pianos for $100k? How, exactly, can you do that "badly"? If the pianos aren't up to scratch, you send them back, you don't keep them, then pay just $70k months later.
Your argument makes no sense. I believe you like to just jump on the hate band wagon for the sake of it. Are you even American?
Sorry for the delay, I wanted to answer earlier, but lost the thread. You gave an example where it's reasonable to withhold payment or demand the problem be fixed (using cheap components that aren't up to spec.), then went on to say that Trump only ever withholds payment because of shoddy work, rather than as a matter of course. However, if your contractor gets caught cheating you, do they ever sue you? They're going to lose, if you just show the component they installed or a photo of where the work was shoddy. Trump was sued over 6000 times for not paying. In today's news, the city of Minneapolis is demanding payment up front for a Trump rally, because they've noticed how other cities have been left holding at least some of the bill. The man cannot be trusted to pay his bills. It's not because he can't, or that he doesn't get what he asks for, it's because he won't.
You just believe and parrot everything you hear dont you. I think you are either trolling me or you really are that uneducated that you can't look further then what's presented on face. They Minn. Mayor seeing an opportunity to make some money inflated the bill to some ungodly amount. And you know who handles security for the President dont you? I'm not going to assume you do so I'm going to tell you. The secret service that's who. Sure some local police are involved directing traffic but they majority is done by secret service. But actually look into these things instead of blindly following what propaganda the MSM put out. I'm done with you now. Got get educated or keep being a troll. Seems you know nothing on how major construction works either. Everyone Sue's everyone once you get to s certain level. Its building cases not buildings.
You never answered if you are American by the way. I assume you are not.
Are you saying he didn't have 6000 lawsuits brought against him and his companies for non- or under-payment? He didn't pay several other cities, as well. No, I'm not American, as you can tell from my profile, it's not like I'm trying to hide it, or it's at all relevant.
So I'm done with you foriegn troll. You are so delusional. I bet you think you are a big deal. But I know that you feel nobody likes you. Enjoy. I'm not responding anymore. Go build something.
I'm deeply hurt. I'm in the middle of renovations, as it happens, and unless the people doing the work do something I told them not to, I'll pay them what we agreed.
It's only a feeling I'm sure you will get over it.
I did, thanks for caring. :)
For sure not the worst... agree 100%
Jackson was bad!
This is such a great question wonder why they are replying to anyone? hmmmm
Neither will happen
Probably won't happen!
Why? What did he do?
trump is just a symptom. His followers are the disease.
