Judging from the responses so far, it seems like a well-known scenario in the US. Money talks, they say.

But surely a governor can afford to pay a speeding ticket, haha! But I know what you mean, the officer is not doing his job in favor of the governor.
What causes that sense of no unity?
Consider Donald Trump. For years he scammed contractors, and got away with it because he had deeper pockets than did the contractors. And consider how he protects himself from the law, by making others ignore subpoenas. No poor person is above the law like Trump is.
Aren't the Clinton's rich? Haiti is getting tired of them ducking them, they want their money.
@The_White_Queen : What are you even talking about? Apparently just another right wing conspiracy theory with no proof or evidence. It amazes me how right wingers are so gullible to conspiracy theories. There are new, crazy conspiracies every week, and right wingers just gobble them whole. It's like their brain is missing a common sense center.
The Clinton foundation raised money for Haiti, haiti is waiting for the cheque.
@The_White_Queen : The Clinton Foundation did give money to Haiti. There was a great deal of money given to Haiti following the earthquake, but most of it was not under direct control of the Clinton Foundation. And if you know anything about Haiti, it's very corrupt. It's difficult to get anything done if you don't bribe someone. That includes getting disaster relief to people in need. I personally know a few Haitians, and everyone I have asked about this, says it's true. Several people Haitians I know, won't even go back to visit family in Haiti, as they don't want to be kidnapped or robbed when they visit.
Are you referring to your justice system or do you believe its the same everywhere else in the world?
It's rampant in certain parts of the world, somewhat less in others, but it happens everywhere. The USA is prime example, and I know this because I'm a citizen and resident.
That's what I've been seeing so far too.
Stay tuned. The longer Trump is pres, the worse it will get. People here are too dumb to realize what's going on.
Well he was voted by the slight majority to become president in the first place. It also seems to me, just like Brexit to the British, Trump is a very divisive discussion among the Americans.
You are incorrect. Trump lost the popular vote by 2.87 million, the largest popular vote loss by anyone ever, who still became President. The system of an electoral college in the US is how he got elected. It is noteworthy however, to point out that Trump accused Clinton of voter fraud, claiming she somehow, along with Google, manipulated 16 million votes. Well now, one would think you'd manipulate them to come out in YOUR FAVOR, if that were the case! LMAO.
I'm not gonna go there as I do not know much of the US political climate. But he is officially the president of the US.
THAT is correct, because of our Electoral College system, but that's not what you said. The "majority" of voters cast votes for his opponent. You need to understand the Electoral College system in this country for it to make sense. We currently do NOT elect a President by a simple majority of votes.
