I didn't think of it as important. I was musing about it to myself in the gym just thinking "man, there are a lot of toxic people who threaten to kill themselves to get their way (particularly people after a breakup)--if they actually killed themselves, would the destruction that they cause by living as self-centered assholes be greater than the pain that they cause in their suicide?" I'm not decided, but one thing that I do know is that neither side can be simply dismissed as having no backing.
I've been to multiple funerals, but not all funerals are the same. I think the funerals of suicidal people are fundamentally different. How many people do you think cry at the funeral of the eepressed, suicidal enraged and hurtful teenager who only kept to himself in his room and hurt the people closest to him throughout his life? Maybe his parents. But everyone else might feel a sense of relief. I've seen some funerals like that.
Uh no. Elective assisted suicide is bad. I'm mainly talking about the asshats who threaten suicide to get their way and never actually follow through with their threat.
Stop listening to the asshats and they'll have no power over you. As far as assisted suicide, that's up to the individual and it's no one else's business.

Not talking about considering suicide, I'm talking about actually threatening to kill yourself for at least one other person to hear. People like the girlfriends and boyfriends who threaten suicide if you break up and this girl https://youtu.be/XA6WEs3e-tQ
I've never heard of a depressed person threaten suicide--they just keep to themselves, occasionally talk about how upset they are, or mention that they once attempted suicide. I'm thinking mostly of people like the toxic exes who threaten to kill themselves over a breakup in order to manipulate and people like this girl https://youtu.be/XA6WEs3e-tQ
