Anonymous1 moof course nobody is going to reply seriously to this, because they can't defend their desire to take your money. And they'll never answer questions about their ancestors also owning and selling slaves, or all the other races involved in the slave trade. Those in favor of reparations, solely want white people to give them more free stuff, which seems kind of, I don't know, racist to me.0|00|0Is this still revelant?

If so, even the tone of voice you project in this question seems angry. But if you want to know why reparations are being requested for example from the UK etc, I can attempt to explain. But only if you are actually seeking to understand and but coming to the table prejudiced. Prejudice helps nobody by the way
Yeah and in general. Are black people expecting whites to kiss their ass for shit that happened to their ancestors over 100 years ago?
I asked this question in lieu of another question concerning race. So I may have been a bit upset when i asked it.

No sweetheart. It has nothing with blacks as you say in America, seeking for white people to kiss their ass. Now I will e, plain from my limited knowledge of the situation, anyone with further information feel free to add 😊
1. People of African descent have never fully recovered from the effects of slavery. Reparations are not about Caucasian people kissing their ads it is about attempting to heal the open wound that shadows the entire ethnicity of African descended people.
2. The situation is so does that the United nations declared and committed ten years to assist with the situation
3. A reference I will draw to explain the fragility of the situation is that the Holocaust (which I know little about except major details) lasted for approximately 13 years. Thirteen years of crimes against humanity, things that I fear to know of because I am an emotional person and it will bother me. Slavery of African descended people occurred for hundreds of years.Somewhere between two to four hundred years? I am not exactly sure. These crimes against these people was the commonplace occurence.
4. Now to draw another reference, soldiers go to war for a few years and come back with severe PTSD. Things they have seen and experienced that scar them for life. Without help they deteriorate. The current effect on the entire ethnicity of people can be compared to this. Could you imagine the level of brainwashing, stress, and misunderstanding on the people as a whole who for generations and generations and generations were hurt and misused and abused simply for a genetic trait they possesed? If you look at the staggering numbers of "blacks" in prisons you will understand the effect it has had. If you look at the ghettos and communities and understand the general family structure you will understand the effect.
The chains are gone, but the minds are still enslaved.Reparations are a means to and and if that and serve to help your fellow man of that ethnicity, who most do not even understand how they have been affected by it and need to be reset in their thinking. Instead of being limited or blinded by the surroundings and history. Remember I was telling you of being too emotional to hear the details of the Holocaust? Imagine we are taught, as children what was done. Imagine that this is our history and that some people are still prejudiced against others due to the colour of their skin today. Imagine a nine year old girl passing her fingers along and through the thick iron clamps, centuries years old, that held the arms and legs of her ancestors while looking at pictures of how the naked slaves were packed up next to each other in rows on boats. Hearing they were not allowed to move and had to pee and shit on them selves so the slaves on the lowest rows were most likely to die from the faeces and urine of the other rows sliding down to them.. I don't know if you can but try to really think about it. That was only the beginning
I wish humanity would love each other. I support the reparations to help a people who need it, I'm whatever way it can. Up until the early 1900'a people of African descent were kept it zoos for viewing on various parts of the world. Some were killed and had their genitals cut off so that people could view them in museums. I mean the list of inhumanities against the entire people is a long one.
These are generalizations, the reparations will be used for various things and as I alluded to I am a chocolate girl myself so not bashing my ethnicity at all. I simply see where unless much effort is made it is easy to get swept away in the cycle of mental slavery. I live in the Caribbean too so my perspective may be different than someone in the US. But I think it's the same general idea. My reason for mentioning the Jews was that their 13 years of horror has been tried to be amended through reparations. Which they have received or are receiving? (Google it to be sure). So similarly "Blacks" from various countries are seeking reparations from the governments that saw/caused their ancestors enslavement, in order to push for positive help for the new generations.Sorry I'm advance for the typos lol. And I know this is long, there was no way to summarize because this all needed to be said. I hope you understand a little better and are no longer angry. It's nothing against you or any Caucasian. Please do not take it that way. It is to help your fellow man, such that the people as a whole can break free finally from the horrendous past.

Ravage just likes to call anything racist... Who gives a fuck what they want from us?
If the group colonizing the Americas was any other (Arabs, Africans, South or East Asians), they wouldn't give a damn about minorities.
I think we need to remember that the society works worse when the majority bends to the pressure of the few.
These people have a whole continent they can go to. But they want to stay in the white and prosperous regions.
I don't blame them for wanting a better life.
