I personally think abortion isn't necessarily killing children, though it certainly can be depending on where it is throughout the development, but you quite literally just equated the actions of others to the actions of conservatives. We generally promote the right to bear arms, but the people that cause mass shooting in schools are the ones that kill people, not the people that allow people to bear arms. If we made it legal for people to go into schools and shoot people, then I'd agree with you. But we clearly don't.
@crmoore NRA is controlled by gun manufacturers. They have influence over conservative candidates.Planned parenthood and other groups have influence over liberal candidates. Both groups try to pretend they're doing nothing wrong. It's all bullshit. That's why I'm an independent.
Neither organization has influence of the entirety of either side. Few people are sheep, most can think for themselves. But either way, tell me what the NRA is doing that is wrong?
@crmoore This is a long conversation.I don't think you are unbiased enough for me to get into it.Candidates are definitely in the pocket of these organizations.Trump doesn't cross the NRA and Biden caves to whatever stance on abortion his party wants him too.
And has Trump expressed any disagreement with the NRA? Has Biden expressed any disagreement with PP? I, for example, support the NRA. If I became president, suddenly am I corrupt? It's only corruption if what you're doing is not your own reasoning.
And I haven't expressed any form of bias. Not to toot my own horn, but friends as well as strangers who I speak to online claim quite the opposite.
@crmoore Like I said, this is a long conversation.I've followed politics for a long time.I know a lot about it.I didn't just come to my conclusions overnight.I'm not going to get into a long political debate on gag with you or any of the other pile ons that will join to push their rhetoric.I'm not going to argue with people who don't want to change. You're free to support who you do.I'm free to feel the way I do based on the evidence I've seen over the years.Have a nice day.
When have I expressed or indicated that I don't want to change? I've had plenty of people on the other side change my opinion on things. I support views from both major political parties. This is twice now you've made a groundless assumption. If this is how you formulate your stances, then perhaps it WOULD be best if you refrain from online debate. And of course, you're entitled to your opinion. I haven't expressed otherwise. You're also not obligated to debate me. And just as you're free to do that, I'm free to tell you how ridiculous your presumptive inclination is.
@crmoore I can tell that you're not going to be receptive to the things I have to say.I have talked to a lot of people like you over the years about gun control etc.I can tell by your tone.I know better than to waste my time.
My tone in the beginning was entirely neutral. You can explain to someone why their stance is faulty without having an attitude. My tone began to differ when you first began making groundless assumptions about me. Which, by the way, is prejudiced. I'm going to take a shot in the dark, here. Based on your behavior thus far, you're a very unreasonable person. Perhaps it's not the people you speak to who are "receptive," perhaps it's you and your poorly founded notions that few people would ever agree with. And for someone who allegedly wants to refrain from debating, who doesn't want to "waste their time," you sure have remained here for quite some time. You could have supported to stance several times over. But I have a feeling you're not doing so because you don't think you can. If you don't want to waste time, quit beating around the Bush and actually support your stance. If not, take your own advice and don't waste your time.
@crmoore I don't have the energy to educate every right leaning 22 year old kid that thinks he has it all figured out.I've talked about this topic over and over again in the past.On other websites.I'm exhausted by it.I gave my answer to the question.I know what the truth is.You can research it if you're so inclined otherwise I don't care.Like I said have a nice day.
I'm not 22, nor do I think I know it all. I have my opinions, but I'm no expert. You've made a groundless assumption in most of your responses here, you have NOT answered the question, instead merely repeated or rephrased your initial statement.
@crmoore I told the truth.Do what you want with it.
I rest my case. You know where to find me when you feel like being an adult and taking responsibility for your words.
@crmoore LoL!I'm not going to be "Finding You."It's your responsibly to step out of your conservative or Liberal bubble and think for yourself.I hope you do someday. If not, have a nice life either way.
I'm quite literally asking someone outside of my bubble about their political beliefs right now, in this very conversation, as we speak. Yet you hope one day I'll branch out? Day is the day, bud. And you don't seem to be in support of it.
Today is the day*
@crmoore I don't want to go into a long debate with you about the NRA.I can tell how you feel.I can see it from a mile away.I've had this argument multiple times before and it goes nowhere.I could produce gun violence stats by country, get into long conversations about semi automatic firearms and high capacity magazines etc.Mass shooting specifics.I just know that you don't want it.You want to argue the 2nd amendment and steer the conversation as far away as possible. You have your right wing strategy.I know it well.If you really want the truth you can look in your heart and find it.that's all I know.
Yes, I'm sure you can pull up a bunch of statistics about gun violence. But is the NRA the ones committing those crimes? No, they aren't. Supporting the right to bear arms is not supporting people murdering someone. Again, you made a groundless assumption. The whole foundation of what I've been saying from nearly the beginning of our conversation is that the NRA does not commit acts of violence. Bad people do. And equating the NRA to criminals is exceptionally absurd. This is the fourth or fifth time you've made a groundless assumption. None of which you've justified upon being questioned.
@crmoore I'm not playing this game with you.I've heard this all before. You're not a parent.
Alright, well my statement still stands. You know where to find me.
I meant to say that it's not just* you
