I wish I shared your fantasy. Humans spend more time and money on weapons designed to kill each other than anything else. After mosquitoes, humans are the most dangerous species on the planet. And the planet is fighting back.
I always side with the planet as most humans seem to think they're the most important things in the universe. Considering that people KNOW they're screwing up and don't stop (let the grandkids handle it, right?) I feel they should be eliminated before the planet is screwed beyond recovery. And that time seems to be near.Oh, you can't offend me because of something folks here think is a flaw: You think; most don't.
Please don't assume to know what I think. I'm not the one trying to judge all humanity, you are. And who are you to do so?
Sorry you missed the compliment. Of course I'm judging, we all do that every day. Who am I? Merely your equal on the planet, entitled to the same things as you are. If you wanna fight you've come to the wrong place.
I don't fight.

Humans have been trying that for a long time. That solution should be an effect of war but subsequent population booms negate it. People needed a large sex drive in the old days to insure the continuation of the species. No longer. This site shows the problem perfectly. Check the sexual areas and see how many don't have a clue.
Yes, with a 'but': I did not actually think of physically removing the 'unwanted' half; it's more about establishing a 'mindfulness'. Why would I be making own efforts to support portions of humanity that I don't feel related with or responsible for? Let them drown. Trouble being of course to decide/judge who is on which 'side'. Examples [unsorted]: there is no need to free the world from communism, piracy, corruption, mismanagement or theocracy; or to send aid to countries that chose the wrong piece of land to live on; or to assist in solving the disputes of others who started their quarrels without my own consent; or to send the police against bank robbers to protect the banks' greed - history will settle this by itself. The way I try to 'save' with my own contributions is to NOT do the things that I consider 'harmful'.
Not what I asked.
If not people who's going to be doing the saving then?
Without humans the planet is self sustaining. The real question is if it's too late. If humanity cleaned up after itself we wouldn't have this problem. That's all it takes.
Makes complete sense, but is it too late?
Not sure. Hope not.
I think you have mixed up the planet with French Canadians. In that case; agreed.
Ahhhhhh touche my friend
Considering that humans don't clean up after themselves and the population has increased 7 fold in the last 200 years, I urge you to re think the issue.
For the reasons you said this, I said to save humanity. Yes, when I re re re think, I understand that your and my concept of humanity may be different.
Well thought out! I see humanity as a plague on the planet. That's because competition hasn't been replaced by cooperation as a basis of society. Too late to change?
