I know! I think we should quarantine for two months total.

Wow the world is going through this and you got nothing better to do than make things into some political BS?
@Jackpot777s There's nothing "political" about it, sir. And there's no bullshit in what I said, but there's plenty of bullshit in what the village idiot says. His announcement was TOTALLY arbitrary when he made it !! During the time it took to finish his speech, the USA reported 1,200 more cases in less than an hour! We had NO idea what was coming, and this idiot has some notion he was "boosting moral" ? He was putting everyone in MORE danger. It's not a "Republican or Democrat or Independent" thing. No, his are the foolish words of a man who knows not when to shut his mouth and listen to those who know what they're talking about. Have you heard him? First he was in denial about the whole thing, then he contradicted every scientist around him, and now HE turned completely insane (beyond political) by saying " the governors need to be appreciative" and not to call certain ones whose very states are in the worst shape? That's unbelievable !! He's a public... fucking... servant, and he's holding states' hostage unless they suck up to him? He's a fucking disgrace, and NOT because he's a Republican, but because of who he is and what he does. The bullshit is coming out of his mouth, and not the scientists or doctors.
And if someone on the left did the exact same thing? Would you be going on a rant right now or give them the benefit of the doubt?
@Jackpot777s You're not paying attention because you WANT to make this political, and it's NOT. You "think" that I'd support this if a "liberal" said it? If Pelosi, or every Democrat in Congress said it? That's what you WANT to believe because you're not hearing me. I wouldn't give a fuck WHO said "go back to normal on April 12th " no matter what side they came from !! They're not epidemiologists, or scientists, or contagion experts. No "politician" is in ANY position to make that call. What they SHOULD ALL be saying is " we are working the best minds worldwide in this field, the most experienced, knowledgeable people... everyday... to determine our best course of action". That's the only "pep talk" that makes sense. Instead, bozo the clown takes it on himself to "decide" when it's all going to be ok. And what's worse is, there are other bozos who believe him. There's NO benefit of a doubt here... and I'd be saying the same thing no matter who said it. If Pelosi said it, I'd be calling her an idiot just the same. My POINT was, and IS, that this is typical of Trump because "he knows everything about everything", even pandemics apparently.
I don't believe we could lift it by April 12th it was a real stupid thing to say but at the same time you obviously are full of hate when it comes to Trump. You need to realize that Trump, Obama, George Bush and any president in our lifetimes is controlled by the people above them. Just a puppet and just saying what they are told to say. Politics is BS and I am not trying to make it political I am saying it is disturbing when people on both the left and right get so emotional and mad over BS that only exists to make us fight.
@Jackpot777s I too "accept" there are others pulling the strings of our Presidents. I'm not dismissive of what others call "conspiracy theories". BUT... there is STILL a lot an individual President can do, either for or against, the hardest working people in this country. There is a LOT an individual can do as a President that affects the world. The individual administration in place over the last 50 years have varied tremendously in their outlooks and actions regarding every major concern the American people have had. So while I agree to an extent that it's ALL a distraction, there have been admins that were "better for the common folk than the rich, better for the environment, better for safety", and so on. But that's a very long discussion. My hatred for Trump, his policies and pretty much everything about the man, is not just based on the last 3 years. Or his TV show. It's based on his entire history in business and all the things he's said and done. Before he was a "Republican", he was a Dem. It never mattered to him. He supported whoever had the power to give him what he wanted, or whoever he could con, and he's conned a lot of people and municipalities as well. Now he's conning 40% of American voters, and he's doing disastrous things they don't even know about. So yeah - I loathe him (better word than hate). He is a despicable person, in my opinion, which is based on his actions and words, not just because I "just don't like him", or " I'm mad that Hilary didn't win". He's earned every bit of disgust.
As I agree with you that those folks who truly pull the strings are always in the shadows, I can still say that some men do a much more honorable job than others. That word I just used, "honor", can never, ever be associated with Trump. Perhaps I rant too much in disgust, but I can always cite actual facts and sources, no matter how much he decries they are fake news. Let's just try and get through this without 200,000 Americans dying. :-(
What are your thoughts?
I agree. I'm terrified for the country and especially all of those people out there who are 60+ or who have a preexisting condition. My coworker's brother just passed away from it - he had some sort of issue with his blood.
It is never gonna happen it was just a goal that will not be met
