Well it was just a goal he had in mind not a set thing which it is not going to happen.
@Jackpot777s Of course everyone would like to get back to normal as fast as possible. But it's unrealistic to set a goal like that, and you shouldn't really put that kinda hope into people- he's just telling people what they want to hear, giving them false hope.A true leader would be realistic and honest with his or her people.
I think at that moment he thought it was possible though and also to boost morale because people are all depressed. I might be high risk for the virus I really don't know I wish this would all just be over but it won't not for a good while.
@Jackpot777s I mean there are other ways to boost morale, you shouldn't really believe in false hope or give it to others. He has experts telling him everything about the virus.Like we're cheering for our NHS staff in Britain because they're doing an incredible job, under these circumstances. You can be realistic and boost morale at the same time.
He is a businessman more than a politician and dealing with something like this that has not happened in 100 years is really hard.
@Jackpot777s Well, then a politician should really be there, not a businessman.I understand it's hard, but he's supposed to be the leader of a country, if it's too hard, maybe someone else should take his place.
It would be hard for anybody to deal with nobody in 100 years has faced this. If it was Hillary Clinton it would be the same result. Also the way Trump gets it being called racist no matter what he does. They called him racist for banning flights from China but if he didn't it would have spread even worse by now. I just know that I am scared I have to go out 3 times this coming week.
@Jackpot777s "It would be hard for anybody to deal with" I think we can agree that any sensible person (not even country leaders) would've listened to the experts and deployed mass testing since January www.nytimes.com/.../...navirus-testing-delays.html Due to the exponential growth this lack of testing fiasco is leading to your thousands deaths (and rising).

I mean, he said that's what his plan is. So does he just have a brain dead plan, or did he lie about it? Which is it?
Check your facts. He said he thought it would be ‘tremendous’ or ‘beautiful’ or whatever other trump word if the country opened by Easter. But he also made it clear that he would listen to his advisors and make that decision soon. It was hope, not a finalized plan.
Here he says he hopes to have the country open by Easter and then says they're actively working towards that goal. I guess a lot of us are a little worried because historically Trump doesn't really listen to people in the scientific community... ever... on anything. But you are right - he said it's a hope.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YIMdUlQeX0
He certainly made it clear that it was what he wanted to see happen and was going to have his administration move in that direction. Then when Dr. Fauci said that the virus would determine when it was safe to reopen, not any one person. Trump backed down. It's like everything else with Trump. He goes off headstrong listening to his gut cause he thinks he knows more than the experts and then has to be talked off the cliff by everyone with any common sense around him. Trump never claims to listen to anyone except himself. He is the world's leading expert on everything.
That was dark.
Well they annoying me with their authrortian backwards views no matter their religion
