I agree all the way. It’s not fair to the parent to have the child, not is it fair to the child. So many things can be prevented if we didn’t control others.
I’m Christian myself, but it’s not your body. We are all in control of our own bodies. What if you were in the woman’s situation?
But what if they were raped or can’t take care of the child?
I'm not so sure about rape, because this is a special case, which is probably the only case I'd consider abortion would make sense. And as for not being able to take care of the baby, in normal circumstances, people should consider the possible consequences of sex, so sex should be something that is responsible.
Sure, people need to be more careful, but that’s doesn’t really matter in this case. It’s not fair to the child to be born into a family that doesn’t want them or a family that can’t take care of them.
But we are also not to judge what type of life that baby will have or take that life away from them. Which is why the problem is in not having responsible sex. We can't shift our focus to the result of the problem and not tackle the real problem.
From past experiences I think we her the right to judge what type of life they will have because by forcing a woman to have a child you may be setting the child up for abuse and neglect. Also this causes the women to lose control of her body which is demeaning. You can’t change the past after they’re pregnant. Anyways I do think we as a people should educate people on sex better so this wouldn’t have to be an opinion.
I strongly agree with the conclusion of your statement
Is adoption that terrible?
It absolutely can be terrible. The foster system is much worse though.
It can be, but so is everything else. At least adoptive parents wanted to be parents.
I disagree because once the baby is born you have to pay for clothes, diapers, other necessities. Raising a kid to the age of 17 costs about $233,000 while an abortion costs $359-950. So abortion is cheaper by a ton technically.
No don't get pregnant to start with, so no need for a obortion. It's not a family planning technic. You could have a obortion and make you sterile through the procedure...
You can’t just force someone to have a baby.
Im not, just a little fore thought. Have sex increases the chance of getting pregnant. Or is your idea just have been you like and have a obortion if you get pregnant. Great thinking...
Ok your grammar makes no sense. If the woman is raped that’s not her fault
That is the question.. If that was the case you would get a morning after pill. It brings on a period so no pregnancy...
The government shouldn't have the authority to qualify human life.
It’s not murder
Yes, it is. Abortion is a malicious and purpose attack to kill a human life.
It’s not a human, it’s a fetus. Which is part of the woman and is just a bunch of cells.
If you would rather chose the life of a bunch of cells than the life of a human well than that sucks for you. It’s not right to take rights away from women to control her body.
Once the child is born in some circumstances.
"In some circumstances"? Is consistency impossible? What circumstances would make it end up either way?
Can you explain further in that opinion? That seems pro choice to me.
The way I see it, I see abortion as a way of maintaining population control and the economy. So, I would go as far as saying that some women should recieve MANDATORY abortions to tackle overpopulation and reduce taxes.
It is also legal in the country I live in
