I think whoever discovers it and that includes the USA, should share it with the workd. This is a world problem.
A worldwide problem this is & working together we can come up with a worldwide solution.
As for the Covid-19 vaccine if I were to give you it would you take it?
At this very moment i dunno. I mean they had a guy on the news the other day who is currently testing one.
I guess i'm saying is i wouldn't want to be the test subject. I might just roll rhe dice till it's effectiveness and possible side effects have shown a bit.
What's your point?
Answering the question. I'm assuming you didn't post it for nobody to answer. If you're unhappy with the approach, content, or otherwise to answers, set more criteria in the question. Otherwise, don't patronize others who answer questions you asked.
This is exactly why I call Americans all these things. Everything is about satisfying yourself, then criticize, patronize, or belittle them for not fulfilling expectations you didn't even set in your question. That's my point. Also, if you could make a coherent argument (though I doubt it), instead of only talk down to others, rather than address their arguments directly, I'd love to have a debate.
Would you feel better if i gave you a hug?
Yes. Seems to be about all you're capable of.
@Iron_Man thank you
You are very welcome
Thank you for choosing me
Sorry i have to correct you. Our health doesn't typically let anybody die ( it's that whole "Hippocratic Oath" thing). What it does do is leave you so far in debt sometimes that you wish you were dead.
The hippocratic oath applies to how they treat patients. If you get denied care, you aren't their patient
@TienShenhan Either way medical institutions are not allowed to let you die "legally" if you come in in peril they have to treat you. Now i'm not going to get into the specifics because this is the only point i was trying to correct you on. I agree with you about big pharma. And hospitals are businesses just like any other business.
Haha, yes of course. No one is technically ' killing' or blatantly not giving a damn. They'll pretend they care 🙂
Not true. All emergency rooms legally have to do is "stabilize" you and discharge you if they want. Not really solve the problem.
@msc545 Thank you for repeating what i just said.

That you know very little about it. Lol
Interesting. Did you happen to read the post i made a few days ago about how the USA was in need of PPE to protect our healthcare workers. And 70 countries were restricting trade to the USA. Then end result was some probably got sick because of it some maybe even died. Is that acceptable?
I don't know what post you're talking about, no. Whether that's acceptable or not, I don't know. I would have to know the specifics of the situation. However, I would like to point out that the "recipe" (for the lack of a better word) for a vaccine is different than physical goods like protective equipment, particularly in a time like this when demand is high but supply is low (since people aren't working much). If you have 100 suits of protective equipment that's only 100 suits. If you sell 50 of those to another country you have 50 fewer suits. And even if that saves 300 lives in that other country, it might cost 300 lives in your own country. A "recipe" for a vaccine you can share with other people and have them start producing it without losing any vaccine yourself. Because it's a recipe, not a physical good.Note that I still didn't say whether not exporting protective equipment (which the U. S. currently has restrictions on too, btw) is right or not. I'm just pointing out that whether or not it's right, it's not the same as the "recipe" for a vaccine.
You can have a limited supply of vaccine to my man.
Of vaccine, yes. Maybe you didn't mean it like this, but the way I interpreted your original question "Do you think if we develop a Covid vaccine first here in the United States that we should deny the rest of the world it?" as the U. S. refusing the share the "recipe" for the vaccine. As in refusing to share the information with the rest of the world how to create that vaccine. And sharing that information is not something that is in limited supply. You can just do that without losing anything.
I posted a question the other day that 2 weeks the USA was hurting needing PPE for our healthcare workers. The worlds response? 70 countries restricted trade to us. Letting our healthcare workers get sick and die. Example of the world's humanity?Could be. And we haven't declared war on anyone yet over it.
Thats the problem here. Every country is like for themselves. Most of the countries don't even have ventilators for their people. Instead of doing this we don't trade and we won't, they should rather be finding out ways to manufacture more and more medical equipment. This what's happening is definitely not helping. And the same attitude carried by all the countries will only make it worse.
Who says it hasn't and isn't already?
Yeah Santa Clause created it and is stockpiling it up at the north pole. He will be giving them out as Christmas presents.
The leg is on the other foot. I posted a question the other day there are 70 countries restricting trade with us right now. So no PPE from them.
And we have trade and travel restrictions with most of Europe and Asia. So no it’s not on the other foot. Plus ppe is not a vaccine.
What's a Kg? Speak normal. In lbs.
You're too uneducated to use modern metric system lmao.. Fat and dumb.. American Idiot
The Tiger does not hunt the flea. Why would i want to waste my time learning the metric system. No one worth dealing with uses it.
Lol Russia legit owns America holding it by balls.. Learn the metric system you will need it when your fat ass nation expires
You think just bwcause Russia trolled us in the last election that means they own us? Influence man. That's all they got.
Don't assume that because i adk the question that that is what i actually thing. Some questions are hypothetical to see how others think.
You're right that would be selfish. And we should care because?
Because exactly how unpopular do you think we can be without suffering consequences?
@msc545 i've never worried about popularity. I know our allies and non allies for that matter will be right thete when they need us. 🤣
uh huh. What about when we need them?
Also I feel like this question is more morbid curiosity than actual seriousness. Including your comments, they are almost condescending like you are trying to support your idea by introducing it. "And we should care why?" because it ruins the entire balance of the relationship between the countries. Its not a specific science, just common sense. If something breaks, shit is gonna get fucked up.
Only 14 years old and you're smarter than most repliers. Yes, this actually has to do with a question i posted a few days ago. About 1 to 3 weeks ago lack of PPE was a big issue in this country. White House Official Pete Navarro was interviewed by 60 minutes. And in that interview Navarro said the problem is PPE isn't made domestically anymore. We have to get our PPE from overseas and currently we have 70 restricting trade with us right now. So this was a question to see what others thought if we developed a vaccine but restricted it. And for some reason some people are really triggered by thins question, a hypothetical question. I don't actually support restricting a developed vaccine. This is a global problem. But since so so many are triggered by this question and getting irate about it at me, i'm just having a little. Fun with them.
I agree. Now all we have to do is get EVERY country agreeing on this.
Well obviously not very happy. But they are a sovereign nation and i would think they're doing what they think is best for themselves. I would also think if England figured it out it wouldn't be much longer before we would.
And even if we developed the vaccine first China would just steal it anyways 🤣
They already remember all the bad things we have done. Why do you think we are so hated?
@msc545 Because they blame the average American for that rather than the banks and corporations that really run our country.
AND the American government
Competition to be the most powerful, the richest company.
And you want to get that by killing people by not allowing them Access to healthcare? Okay Josef Stalin.
I do like the name Joe
You have the same personality.
That's what they get for going pee pee in our coke.
