Yeah it is. We live in a cosmopolitan world where no culture wants to recognize its mother culture.
True. Given that adaptability is vital for survival (& even thriving) in this dynamic, challenging world, pragmatism is highly prioritized. In all actuality, real originality & true ownership of cultural assets is rare, given how much is borrowed material. Italy's treasured noodle-cuisine would never happen had Marco Polo not taught his compatriots about the these long, edible things he ate in China. Likewise, Chinese culture was exported to Japan (during the Tang dynasty), Korea (Song), and Vietnam (Ming), receiving peoples adopted the foreign culture, adapted it to their settings, and made it their own. But China's iconic Buddhist traditions, architecture, ethics, and ways of life are from the India's ex-Prince Siddhartha Gautama (re-named 'Buddha'), and even the 'Chinese' Shaolin martial-arts (for as much as the Chinese deny and ignore this) was developed from the Kalaripayattu martial-arts of the Indian Buddhist monks. And how did the Indians get the inspiration of Kalaripayattu? Apparently, Greece's martial-art, παγκράτιον ("pankration"; "pan-KRAH-ti-on"; from πᾶν "pan" 「all」+ κράτος "kratos" "KRAH-tos"「power」).So much is borrowed and 'owned' by cultures across the globe!

Uhm no. the mainstream media bombarded us with propaganda saying masks dont work my dude. Just accept it.
They do. What they are designed for. But all masks and designed equal.Years ago I worked for a company as a consultant engineer. But the welding masks they provided , were for dust not stopping welding fumes, do I bought my own. But when it comes to a virus you need special kit.But wearing a mask is better for the other person because it can stop it coming out of the mask. How it works inside the mask gets sweaty and the virus if you have it gets stopped by moisture in the sweat. Sadly it doesn't work the other way, it can income cases infect better..
