I have been on leave for a month due to Covid 19. Our governor passed a bill stating that any healthcare workers whom are autoimmune or live with an autoimmune person can take leave during this time. My son is autoimmune so I took her up on the offer. My boss was okay with this and even saw me out on my last day. She left me a voicemail Thursday at 11:47am after I have been out for a month stating that she has rejected my leave request and I had until noon to call her and discuss my immediate return to work and if I didn't call her I would be terminated. I didn't get the voicemail until Friday afternoon due to my phone being shut off. Can she even do this? My phone calls have not been returned since.
