You know you can vote for people not listed right? They're called write-in candidates
You know only two people have realistic odds of becoming the next potus right? No need to waste a vote
That's besides the point and also a terrible method for determining your vote. Have some principles for god's sake
That is the point and I just said one of my principles. Writing in a random persons name is literally a waste of time; why even vote?
Your sole principle is to vote for someone who'll get elected? Voting is meant to cast support towards an individual who shares your deepest convictions. Apparently, you lack any real convictions. Sad!
That’s not my sole purpose. John mcaffee shares your deepest convictions?
That's the sole criteria for which you've advocated (twice). Did I say I would be voting for him?
Although he does share many of my beliefs
Would you cast a vote for a winner you don't like rather than "waste" your vote on someone with whom you align?
I am a citizen of the United States of America, which is the greatest country in the world. Many people have sacrificed and died to grant and preserve those freedoms. As a citizen I vote because I want to preserve those freedoms and also be an active participant in our system. I care about policies and how the government affects our daily lives. I want the best people possible representing our interests at the local, state, and national levels. In November there will be a binary choice for president and either Biden or Trump will win the election and have a major influence over our lives for the next four years. And you question my convictions after posting a silly question about a guy I’ve never heard of running for potus? Go away troll. Getting all this attention you crave?
Oh please. Don't bother getting all patriotic about voting after explicitly favoring anyone with "realistic odds of becoming the next potus". I was happy to have a constructive dialogue with you, but now your disgraceful views have dishonored the rights that men have died to protect. If you truly care about policy and representation, it would be best for us all if you seriously reevaluated the criteria by which you decide how to care for such a sacred responsibility.
Also, don't be gay and use the troll card
Just googled John mcafee, this is a tweet of his:“The McAfee 2020 U. S. Presidential Campaign has now formally begun. I cannot be President. You all know this. But I hope you also know that I am a perfect candidate to disrupt this system..”How could you have an honest desire to have a constructive dialogue about the US presidential election when you initialize it with a man advocating he wants to disrupt that very system?
Congratulations, you know how to use Google.
You are 34, ‘don’t be gay’ should not be a part of your lexicon
20 year career in software development, obviously I use google
👏 That's the clean version of my vocabulary. Go ahead and judge me.Ok, so if you've been paying attention to the political machine, you'd have at least a slight idea that it's severely broken.
I just did judge you, I fall on the judging side of the spectrum - intj, not intf. Yes the system has flaws but I’d rather improve it from the inside than trash it altogether. I believe in the constitution and we can’t just toss away what has made the USA such a great country. I also know at a national level politicians are corrupt so it’s not getting fixed in one election cycle
by the way, you're 41, you shouldn't be acting gay
I'm a libertarian, don't lecture me about preserving the constitution. What you've been proposing is business as usual, the same thing that's led to constant erosion of our civil liberties.
At some point it's time to say enough is enough
I want my rights back
If you want your rights back then that starts at home. It can’t be top down by asking about some clown ‘running for President’. The Marxists are actively attacking Americans at our core: the family unit. If they succeed then everyone will be reliant on the government and all our rights go away.As I said it doesn’t change overnight. But as a fellow libertarian the fight starts with understanding how important it is to raise children in a better environment then they are being raised today. That’s where enough is enough. A home is one father, one mother, and kids who are supported and loved and disciplined. It’s gotta be bottom up, and it’s a fight that will be long term because the Marxists have been at this for over 30 years now and they are very organized.
That sounds all warm and fuzzy, but reality is much more harsh. This political system has us perpetually voting for the lesser of two evils that always ends up waging costly wars abroad, exponentially increasing debt, and oftentimes attacking guaranteed constitutional rights of it's own citizens. The Marxists are a threat outside of the ones we currently allow
If you're willing to slowly vote away your freedom in order to fight against the leftists, then go ahead. I'm not
Hopefully your cozy little family unit can tell junior why he's fighting a war halfway around the world, only to come home and work until the day he dies, propping up a financially and morally bankrupt police state that infringes on all his natural born rights
Junior works for his kids and their opportunities in life
Except his kids won't be able to leave the house without big brother knowing where they're headed and who they're talking to or get on an airplane without being molested by a government employee
At last. As long as you're cool with it
Sure, wouldn’t want to live in another country

How are you doing
