"Karen" is a slang term used as an antagonistic female character in memes. "Karen" is generally characterized as an irritating, "entitled" woman.
Your imagination apparently
I don't imagine anything Profit, I don't know what to do
I did it 2 Concurrent to warn out. OKAY
A Karen is a stereotype of an entitled woman that's likely a soccer mom, has her hair styled in a bob, and likes to complain to managers and such usually about petty things
@CocoBatFloof Thank you! So... I'd say when managers clearly are trying to provide subquality service. They are trying to cut corners instead of having a commitment to service quality. I get that it's always exciting for businesses to get more for their money and effective efficiency does that however sometimes at the disadvantage to the employee and or the consumer. When I see a business behaving poorly or someone reacting in bad way then it's time to say something. It's funny though, the store was closed and kids were taking time picking out prizes at the prize counter and I told them something along of the lines of sweetie please try to make up your mind the store is closed... Worse mistake of my life... Better served in my head and I meant karen big time! She was very upset with me... But that's what you get for saying stupid stuff to customers 😂
Karen is a stereotype of an entitled mother that usually has annoying kids and complains to managers about petty stuff
And why do you say that?
@Sonorous Everyone named karen is the same? Or stacey or Chad. Anyone who even gives a meme a second thought either needs to rethink their life or get an IQ test for possible mental retardation.
"Everyone named Karen is the same? Or Stacey or Chad."^ Think of why we say people are "bad people." We're doing so because we recognize a pattern of behavior that clashes with our end goals. So there's a reason why we call asking labels. They're necessary identifiers. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to form a thriving society. But identifiers aren't always permanent. It just depends on how much it went against people's end goals. For example, we view "Hitler" as way worse of a human than a "desperate bank robber" because Hitler was methodically trying to wipe out a species vs a guy desperate for money that's probably also fed up with his unfortunate circumstances of life. So if they haven't gone over the edge in public opinion, their label could change if their character did. Similar to what Logan Paul is doing. And it's working. All that being said, "Karen" is just another identifier. People recognize certain types of annoying behaviors, (because they're usually fueled by emotions instead of reason & Logic) and they assign a label & make it taboo in order to (maybe) possibly stop that behavior from happening often or to spread awareness of it & laugh. Because everyone's met a Karen. So it's something to relate to. Which can be humourous. Have you been called a Karen before? I'm only asking because when you said:"Anyone who even gives a meme a second thought either needs to rethink their life or get an IQ test for possible mental retardation."^ It sounds like an exaggerative projection of your feelings. Like there's emotional connection to it?
So there's a reason why we assign* labels.
@Sonorous Nope I have never been called that name. It's just childish and says more about the who says it than the person they are saying it to. Sounds like a 10 year old kid on the playground...YOU'RE A KAREN. Nahnahnah booo boooo you're a smelly karen. Yes you are, I am not, YOU ARE.YOU're a karen! No YOU! At least I know what a karen is! Seriously grow up.
Well, you don't have to verbally call someone a Karen. Most people just do it behind the "Karen's" back. I also think that anything simple to say can be seen as kinda silly when we think of kids saying it. But kids don't often understand the meaning behind the words they use, so it's different when an adult says it. But if someone uses it to someone's face, I will agree with you that they probably don't have a peaceful resolution in mind.
@Sonorous "Most people just do it behind the "Karen's" back"Then they are two-faced jerks. There are words for whatever you want to say. Use them. You don't need to follow some dumb trend, think for yourself, be mature, not a little asshole.
Hmmmn, I think you've just gotta find the humor in things more. People usually use it in a joking way. Karens aren't saints 😂
Someone's just pissed they aren't up to date with memes. It's not our fault.
I'm up to date, I'm just not a retard that follows dumb trends mindlessly.
Hating on memes won't buy you extra brain cells but keep dreaming.
Using them will make you lose them. Grow up.
