My increasing competitiveness may be becoming toxic. How can I change this?

Anonymous
There are a few things that I have become used to over the years; one of them is the fact that I am considered extremely attractive. I think this has gotten to my head (slightly), and now I find it weird when someone else around me is complimented too much. I know this is unhealthy, as my looks will eventually fade. However, how can I get over this?

Secondly, I am also competitive about getting higher grades and being on top of things. This has increased a lot over the past year or two, due to extreme pressure and an overly competitive environment at my university. I am very well liked by people, and speak to everyone, but I don’t want this trait to lead people to turn against me.
