"it can lead to false views on that gender without seeing both perspectives" why do people need to know your gender off the bat? why can't they see you're gender clearly from your physique? their name? or just ask them but who cares about the person's gender? - just Qs
Actually that's a valid point and I didn't think about it like that. I guess I was falling into my own trap of being one sided but yeah names and physique are good indicators of that persons gender which I forgot to mention. But yeah you shouldn't be bothered by which gender your interacting with and I was more on about harmful stereotypes which are used for bullying and stuff which can happen a lot. But yeah you make good points!
Honestly gender roles are fun but shouldn't taken too seriously? - that's just me cause people shouldn't feel the need to behave a certain way just cause of their sex/gender.
stereotypes are just stupid, all of them. Gender roles, in some places, are taken too seriously to the point where someone isn't having fun being forced to do something just cause of their sex/gender they were born. Everything is ok when moderately taken.

tradition/culture/religion/old stuff and what people think is how a female and a male should behave and do.
and probs more "reasons" than I can list
Even if I did believe in religion, why should some being tell us how a woman and man should act? Why do we need gender stereotypes?
I'm wondering how it ever came be to be.
