Just because you chose a different religion, doesn't mean Jesus is not the most or among the most important beings in history. You're not following the question.
JESUS isn't A RELIGION. he's A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP. Religion is ( man - made ) traditional values added to the scriptures as we're told not to add or subtract from the word of GOD.
@Djaay Jesus founded the Catholic Church.WHO STARTED YOUR CHURCH?• Calvary Chapel, 1965: Chuck Smith• Christian Science, 1879: Mary Baker Eddy• Jehovah's Witnesses, 1874: Charles Russell• Mormon church, 1830: Joseph Smith• Disciples of Christ, 1809: Thomas Campbell• Baptist church, 1609: John Smyth• Presbyterian church, 1560: John Knox• Calvinist church, 1536: John Calvin• Anglican, 1534: Henry VIII• Lutheran church, 1517: Martin Luther• Eastern Orthodox church, 1054: Eastern Patriarchs• Catholic Church, 33: Jesus Christ
JESUS NEVER FOUNDED ANY RELIGIOUS CHURCH. Religion isn't a relationship with CHRIST.
@Djaay That's your belief and your subjective belief alone.
Physics - man... NO , its not my belief and my belief alone. Its a relationship with the GOD of the bible through the lord JESUS CHRIST. With your idealogology the 7 billion people on this planet would then have 7 billion different gods.
By the way, the Biblical Jesus, if he even did exist, did not know microbes caused disease, and it literally says so in the Gospels in the New Testament, so he obviously was not all-knowing and obviously was not "God in the Flesh".
Where did God say Louis Pasteur was the most important?
Cesarean Section might be number 5 instead, but it's hard to say what's saved more lives, C-Section or electric refrigeration of food and medicine, hard to say.
Historians overwhelmingly agree that Jesus existed and was Crucified. My History professors did.
Jesus did exist.
JESUS IS A SPIRIT of GOD. One and the same who also invented fire.
And besides fire was long before humans.
If he even existed. Be funny if the world's most important man was just a fairy tale
But it won't be very funny when you are before him being judged for your every thought, deed and action of your disobedience.
The overwhelming majority of experts and historians agree that Jesus of Nazareth existed and was crucified.
He's no fairy tale.
I have lived a better life than most Christians they're a bunch of hate filled evildoers who think praying somehow makes them worthy in God's eyes.
Puple poppy... With religious people , i agree 100% . But a true follower in relationship with GOD through CHRIST isn't who your describing
Arguably, he's the most or among the most important.
Maybe to people of the religions that revere him. Objectively he isn’t. The romans kept good records on whom they killed or saw as threats. He isn’t in them. But I digress.
Pontius Pilate was the Governor of Judea, a province of the Roman Empire. He convicted Jesus of treason and heresy because he declared himself king of the Jews. He gave orders to crucify Jesus. The Roman Empire was an enemy of His Church and ministry.Jesus's teachings and sacrifice resulted in Christianity; the largest religion in the world with its plethora of denominations, has 2.4 billion followers. His influence on world Politics, Society, culture, music, and western thought and development is gargantuan. Take a look at the near thousand miracles which have been truly deemed unexplainable. The overwhelming majority of them have occurred to Catholics or within the confines of the Catholic Church; the Catholic Church is salt and light. Modern secular historians of science, economics, university education, human rights, international law, hospitals and Western art are showing that Catholic priests, scientists and thinkers were behind the foundation and great achievements in these areas, acting as salt and light as Christ foretold (Mt 5:13-14; Woods 2005). In his Church, he still works his miracles: Eucharistic bread turning into blood; appearances of Mary; heroic saints; cures and sacred images that are scientifically unexplained; saints with stigmata, powers of healing, bilocation and prophecy, and incorruptible dead bodies.
Objectively then what is JESUS then?
Physics- Man... The first pharagraph is true... political correctness is what put CHRIST on the cross. Religion , including cathlics are a demon spirit which starting from the 11 th chapter of Genesis depiting the woman baby spirit who coincided with the king from Babylon. This is where church and state came together. The constitution of the united states separates the church and state for the very reason to be a nation under GOD in relationship with GOD rather than a religion based upon mans idea of GOD.
@DjaayThe Catholic Church was founded by Jesus according to Sacred Scripture.Jesus built his Church on a man he named Rock. Jesus said “On this rock, I will build my Church and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven” (Mt 16:18-19). Jesus changed the name of Simon to Petros, Greek for Rock. He gave Petros or Peter, “the keys of the kingdom”, which the Jews knew to be the power of a prime minister of the King and chief teacher (Is 22:22). Jesus told him alone to “feed my sheep” (Jn 21:15-17). The Bible shows him leading the Church. The early Christians referred to Peter’s Roman Church as “presiding” (Ignatius, 1st -2nd), “of superior origin” and standard of “true Faith” (Irenaeus, 2nd c.), “Chair of Peter”, “the principal” (Cyprian, 2nd-3rd c.), and “the primacy” (Augustine, 4th-5th c.). While the Catholic Church can give evidence of its unbroken link to Jesus and Peter, other Christian groups began their existence with their founders like Luther (1517), J. Smith (1830), and F. Manalo (1914).Furthermore, the Bible is a Catholic Book. It was Pope Damasus’ Council of Rome in 382 AD which drew up the official list of the books of the Bible. Thus, Luther felt “compelled to concede” that his Protestant Bible was “received” from the Catholic Church. All Christians today trust the authority of the Catholic Church that what they read is the true Word of God and not a false text.
Once again, take a look at all the miracles which have occurred within the confines of the Catholic Church or to Catholics, and hardly any other religion, denomination, or its adherents.Read these books:www.amazon.com/.../ref=ox_sc_saved_image_6www.amazon.com/.../ref=ox_sc_saved_image_8www.amazon.com/.../ref=ox_sc_saved_image_6
Physics-man. THAT IS DEMONIC FORTITUDE.
Prove it. there's not one single document or writing from any scholar or academic of the time... not one. There are three at most references to "christos" meaning the "annointed one" which has no basis in divinity but rather in royalty. So again... any actual proof he existed? Maybe the Counsel Of Nicea under Emperor Constantine might shed some light on the lack of evidence. Oh and Nazareth as a town didn't exist then but there was a political group fighting Roman occupation in Palestine called... The Nazareens.
Prove He didn't. You're the one who claimed He didn't.
