thanks for this!
It was a tiny tube top and low waisted jeans and a navel piercing. It's just my opinion and the girl asked if she looked trashy soooo
So, why do you assume others would not think it is "trashy"?
Totally, non-sequitor but that was a common outfit about 44 years ago minus the navel piercing. Lots off girls dressed like that all the time in the summer months in the mid-1970s.
I don't "assume", but when someone starts telling me I'm sexist because of an opinion on an outfit that i would think is trashy on BOTH genders, then i have a problem, ok?
also, just having the navel piercing changes a lot
So, why do you think these alleged feminists said your comment was sexist.By the way, this is Milla Jovovich in the 1993 movie "Dazed and Confused" which takes place on the last day of school in Texas in 1976.
Why do i think? because they didn't like that my opinion wasn't exactly like theirs so they pick the words that seems to "shut down" anyone who gets in their way. the girl in the pic is fine, no piercing showing, the jeans are high waisted which covers more stomach.
OK, so why do you think they are "feminists"?
Because she said she was... wtf is with the grilling? jeeeeeeez Even if she didn't, it's quite obvious she was..
That's OK.I'm not picking on you but a lot of times people don't think and make all sorts of assumptions about intentions that end up being erroneous. My interrogation was to make sure I understood the situation before I rendered an opinion, which is this:Here's what's happened: Girls being girls. The "feminist" claim has nothing to do with feminism - which is why your comment is your comment and you rightfully asked this question. Claiming you are being sexist is simply the "raison du jour" for attacking you. Girls don't need much reason to attack each other.===========That said, you should feel free to offer your opinions. At the same time, offering opinions will often result in reflexive attacks. "Feminists" don't have a monopoly on that - people everywhere and everywhen do it and have done it.Try to take it in stride. To reiterate:Q: "Why do supposed feminists attack other women for views that don't exactly match up to theirs?"A: Feminism has little really to with it. It's stupid emotional people getting overly triggered and thus attacking back.
Here's Eva Longoria with that look sans piercing.Ironically, she looks totally in place for 1975 - the year she was born.
I'm glad I'm getting support because I was literally so confused.
Yeah, bitches be crazy
She’s most likely a crazy feminist
Oh she definitely is
