A test that is not accurate is a dangerous thing. definatley not better with a flawed test. A flawed test gives you false hope or false fear. Just flip a coin..
My personal view exactly.
In soo many months 0.0006% of population died.. if this is a pandemic i am batman
And i bet half of them wasn't even from the virus.. here in my country.. if someone dies lets say from car crash they tell you to sign that your relative died from corona and they pay the funeral 😂 they are pathetic
What is your country?
Ah well it’s no different in Britain. You can get shot in the head and as long as you had COVID it’ll count as a COVID death. This whole thing is a joke.
Hahahah i know. Glad i see more people are smart.. all i learned from this covid story is that people will believe anything they say at the TV.. is like they are all blind
@Catliver1999 refering to your covid death excuse i agree 100%. I have a live news conference video when a journslist asked abour false covid claims on death certs. The Irish CMO was very uncomfortable and basically admitted it after being asked twice

@Nic1330 san think about it like this, you come up with object of your own design, you then put your signature mark on multiple of the same object with many variations, Later on signature mark no longer needed because of undisputed original creators being known due to what the object is and what they do for people even beyond the original use of the object to the point that original reason for what object is used for is nearly forgotten to people beyond the families and specific trusted friends that tell the original reasons for object and what it is used for, how it is used, where it is used, who uses it, and why it is used like that. That is the nature of what I mentioned originally.
I'm not reading that long reply
@Nic1330 san sloth is not an up and coming trait, regardless of how many of those Americans that do it on a regular basis, so don't be one of those numbers and rise above the rest and take your place in history.
Why wouldn’t you? (I agree by the way but I’m curious about your reasons).
Well multiple reasons, I love staying inside, Virus with such a low chance of killing and only in old or unhealthy people anyway so don't bother me, masks are annoying especially if you do research and find out the ones people are commonly wearing don't work anyway, and well if i actually get the virus it's a good thing? In a way because we need are bodies to adapt to fight it off like how we adapted to other viruses over-time. Plus That's the government forcing something not necessary at all.
Exactly and that’s what confuses me about a vaccine. How would a vaccine work against something that mutates and you probably won’t need it anyway if your body becomes immune.
Well Vaccines are really important tbh. It's just a really safer way to increase are immunity. I would never say no to them at all. And quicker the better. Covid much like other viruses mutate very slowly to the point were vaccines do there job really well. And body don't flat out become immune it just gets better at fighting it over time. So it speeds up the progress by giving you a dead version of it.But yes most people would be okay without it. But it also means you would be ill for more days without one which of course increases the risk of anything worse.
I am curious if you wear a seat belt when driving or as a passenger in a car?
I do. Because I want to.
ok... so you believe wearing a seat belt makes you safer, yes?Do you believe wearing a mask makes you safer?
Maybe, but I don't want to wear a mask, that's the difference.
I don't either but I do where/when needed because, while not fool proof, it does help keep me and others safer. I'm willing to be a little uncomfortable for that personal advantage. I am also willing to be a little uncomfortable in case I don't know I have the virus as I would feel awful if I spread it to others all because I didn't want to feel a little uncomfortable wearing a mask.
I essentially agree, but like I said: Ask me nicely.People thinking they get to decide for me that I have to do something is going to turn me against them. You might have all your reasoning why you think it's good for you to wear a mask, but as soon as you make a decision that goes over my head which forces me to submit to *your* reasoning (even if I essentially agree) is going to turn me away.
I get it - and I am often similar with stuff... just ask my wife... best way to NOT get me to do something I don't want to do is keep asking me to do it lol :)But for things like the mask... there are literally dozens to hundreds of things people do on a daily and weekly basis in a civil society that they don't really want to do or at least not do all the time but they do it because they want to be good civilians... I don't have to be asked nicely to do those sort of things... When it comes to the mask, I will say for me the main reason is not for my well being... I am healthy without issues that have proven problematic... if I get it, knock on wood, 99.9% chance I'll be fine. But what motivates me to wear one (as much as I dislike wearing one - especially with it being hot now...) is I really don't want to run the risk of asymptomatically spreading it to someone who has a condition that could make getting it deadly.
Wear clothes! I am not asking nicely
"they do it because they want to be good civilians"Yes, because they *want* to. Not because they are forced too.@emmily2396 Sorry. It doesn't work like that.
First @emmily2396 too funny :)For anon, I guess it's really a matter of if you believe a mask can help you from not getting it and/or you from not spreading it - and if you believe either part of that, than whether it's a "rule" or a "recommendation" or an option etc then it's on you if you want to be foolish (by not protecting yourself) or selfish (by not protecting others).
In a sense yes. The point is that authoritarian enforcement is not good. Foolish or not it’s my mistake to make and it’s my choice. I think smaller private businesses should be able to tell me to piss off if I don’t wear a mask, but as soon as you try to make me do shit, there’s a problem.
lol... ok I get your point about making you do stuff lol... where I think you need to draw a line or re-think your position is for things that can potentially hurt others... if the act in question is one that you and you alone could possibly get hurt, have it... but for things that could hurt others, suggest you think about the greater good :)
Re-think what position? The position I’m taking is opposition to authoritarian measures. So no, I don’t think I’ll be shifting my position on authoritarianism.
lol... ok then... I am done here lol... Hold to your principles but I do hope by doing so you don't harm others (which... was what I was suggesting you re-think... lol). Cheers :)
Seriously answer the question, because I don't think you get it. What was I suppose to rethink? Authoritarianism?
What’s a bunnies suit?
Basically a diet coke haMat suit
A Diet Coke hazmat suit? Thinking about that one...
