My mistake. Those mintage totals are billions, not millions. To date, in 2020, the U. S. mint has minted and released to circulation 6.5 BILLION coins.

Thanks for the MHO. Because of this COVID stuff, people have been using their charge cards a lot more so they don't have to handle "germy little coins". This means there are fewer coins kept in general circulation. But even with one mint closed, there are still enough to go around.
