They haven’t helped enough tho.
Then how do you think the black community should be doing? Because expecting equality to be reached in decades after over a century of oppression is unrealistic. It could take hundreds of years before black people under Democratic or Republican governments see the same level of prosperity as other races.
I disagree. The individual determines their success. I know many successful black people who grew up in poor single parent households that are making six figures today.
With this concept of “systematic oppression” that Democrats bring up they are convincing most black people social mobility isn’t achievable.
If success is dependent on the individual then why do you think the Democratic Party should be doing more to help black people? By your logic we should be able to succeed regardless of the political climate or the government’s actions. And as long as we’re citing anecdotal evidence, I know black people who became successful in some of the most liberal, solidly Democratic cities in the country and the black people I know in red states are less successful than the black people I know in blue states.
Actually I know many black people living comfortably in red states. As a matter of fact the black people in red states are far more independent from government assistance. And my point remains the same, brainwashing a population into believing they are being held back only enables their demise. Unless of course they are intelligent enough to see through what’s really happening.
Red states have tighter restrictions on government assistance and they also tend to have higher rates of black people in poverty than blue states. And the Democrats aren’t brainwashing black people into thinking they can’t succeed- acknowledging obstacles is not the same thing as forcing people to believe they’re insurmountable. And if the Democratic Party didn’t want black people to believe they’re capable of success then it wouldn’t keep putting black party leaders like the Obamas or Jim Clyburn in such highly visible positions.
Obama can’t relate to the black community. He grew up in wealthy white neighborhoods his entire life.
He’s still beloved by the black community and seen as an inspiration to black people who didn’t have the advantages he did.
Tell your white ass that
I’ve actually talked to everyday black people outside the liberal circle
Very true. Its unfortunate. She will make a good candidate for 2024
