Um I’ve never heard a woman called an asshole... I’ve seen and called men bitches... also bitch is a female dog what’s the difference
@VanillaSalt: Well, women do get called "assholes" at times, but that's not a gender slur. When men call each other bitches, it's very rarely a gender slur towards the man.
Who cares? An insults an insult either you get over it or you cave to the insult and make yourself look like... less
@VanillaSalt: You cared enough to reply to me.
No who cares about the insult not who cares about the question... this and that are two different things
@VanillaSalt: I'm saying, you're the one that replied to me about the insult, so apparently you care. The question I answered was about why gender slurs existed against women, but not men. I gave a detailed answer explaining why. You responded by saying that you've called men bitches before. I'm like, ok, sure, but towards men, it's not a gender slur, it's a general insult. Then, you asked "who cares." Apparently, you care sweety. If you didn't care, you wouldn't waste your time trying to explain to me that you've called men bitches before. Do you understand now?
Again who cares if they call you a bitch a cunt a dick an asshole... their all insults... what matters is how they mean it if their being dicks then their dicks regardless what they said.Mines a response to the original question while arguing your response. Understand sweetheart?
@VanillaSalt: I don't care. I'm just answering the question. In other words, I am just explaining "why." I'm not trying to decide whether or not people should actually be offended by these insults. My question to you is do you care? If not, then why did you reply to me in the first place? What did you hope to accomplish with your comment towards me?
what I’m trying to accomplish is answered by this question. Do you care you were called a bitch or do you care you were insulted? This matters in response to the original question.
@VanillaSalt: I really don't care too much about insults. Very rarely do insults bother me, whether they're gender slurred or not. The only thing that I really cared about was giving @Countryprinces an answer to her question. Does that help you accomplish what you need to?
It definitely does. Now everyone on this take will read our comments and hopefully look at this issue with both sides in mind. Thanks.
Yep. Especially anything you say that insinuates he’s feminine, like a woman, or not manly and they go absolutely apeshit.
So what the fucking point? Your a cunt in my eyes ima pussy in yours were both being fucking stupid and pissed... if people called the fuck down and stopped replying to every insult maybe every woman wouldn’t be a bitch and every man wouldn’t be an asshole...
@destrosio The ramifications of this study are clear when women obtain power. As soon as women rose to peak political power in Scandinavia and Europe they immediately crusaded and criminalized speech they see as "hateful". Women in political power is a very, very, dangerous thing.

You used many female related words that are considered insults for men, so you are reinforcing OP's point.
@emmily2396 That is illogical. Those are not slurs against women.
@emmily2396 Her argument is that there are more that are derogatory towards women that are men. So pussy, sissy, and girlie man could fit that description. What is not noted, women get called names like butch, lesbian, tom boy. But women aren't called pussies, or sissies. In summary, men get called all the names women do, while having a long list of names that only apply to men. The original question owners statement is flawed. And not to be considered seriously.
@emmily2396 you could just as easily say "slut" or "whore" or "promiscuous" are male related words that are considered insults for women because men are the ones who are supposed to have lots of sex and sex is baaaaaad mkay
Pussy/cunt is a name used for female genitals, so using it as an insult against men is also kind of insulting towards women in my view, incel refers to someone who can't have sex with women, girlie is insulting a man for being like a woman. All these make it look like being female is less than being male. I don't see women being called a dick/cock as an insult. For more boyish girls we use the word tomboy, but it isn't that much of an insult. Also, faggot is seen worse than lesbian. Basically anything about a man being more feminine is ridiculed, the opposite not so much unless she looks is unattractive.
@emmily2396 I honestly don't know where you're going with this. Because its all anecdotal. The fact is men get called many names too, have the highest suicide rates and are the highest victims of violent crimes. Which doesn't mean that women can't be victims, but to say that men have it worse, when it comes to insulting names is a not even remotely true.
What you said is irrelevant to the discussion. The point was the male insults you mentioned are mostly words used to describe women.
And just because you have problems that doesn't mean the rest must pretend like they don't have their problems. That is some toxic mentality that leads to nothing. Problems must be acknowledge to be fixed. You are free to talk about your problems as a man, but the moment you try to highlight your problems by dismissing other people's issues it becomes toxic.
@emmily2396 that’s exactly what the original poster did. That is a text book projection. And I will quote yours and the original poster comments that is a clear contradiction. contradiction. “You are free to talk about your problems as a man, but the moment you try to highlight your problems by dismissing other people's issues it becomes toxic.”“ Calling a man a pig or an asshole doesn’t hit as hard words like cunt and bitch.”You are dismissing my ability to feel by saying it hurts you more than it does a man. The epitome of a contradicting statement.
That isn't dismissing. She says men are insulted too, but the thing i mentioned is that they are insulted with words used fo describe women, so women re in the worse.Men have a trend of using feminism as an insult and bringing it in any discussion a woman talks about sexism and try to dismiss their problems by saying men have it bad too. These are 2 different cases. A similar case with what the OP did was you trying to make a post by how men have worse suicide rates. Is that dismissing that females commit suicide too? No, it is talking about a problem that is worse for me. The example I mentiomd would be someone trying to change the focus from men's suicide rates by saying women have problems too. Wouldn't that give you the feeling that your problems are dismissed and you are judged for talking about them?
@emmily2396 I think the issue here is your ability to have reading comprehension. Here I will quote the original poster again. “ Calling a man a pig or an asshole doesn’t hit as hard words like cunt and bitch.”Now I will quote the word dismissing. 1. to direct or allow to leave: dismissed the class. 2. to discharge from service: to dismiss an employee. 3. to discard or reject; put aside from consideration: to dismiss a story as rumor. 4. to remove from a court's consideration: to dismiss all charges.“Doesn’t hit as hard”She is discarding that pig or asshole does not bother us. When it most definitely does.
@emmily2396 you make no sense.
No, you lack the ability to understand what I was saying. I explain 2 different scenarios and you lack the ability to understand. Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean I am wrong. Read again what I said then speak about reading comprehension. You are starting to be quite arrogant

Our mouth breather... take your pick
Say what you mean, mean what you say
Were humans thats why
It’s like bullies who always go for the weak ones. If chicks didn’t care so much there’d be less euphemisms.
Bullshit! People should bring some damn arguments when they say something like this NOW, when everyone seems to have enemy ( by arguments I don't mean "neo-feminist" insane babbling) .
I don't hate people
why do you think society hates women
Because we get shamed 24/7
mm how so, what do people say to u
Lmao the reason for those things "hitting less hard" is that it's "just a male".Breaking our noses is also way less bad. Or our arms. Or cutting our arms off. Or mutilating our genitals. Or cheating on us. Stealing from us. Murdering us. Raping us. Insulting us. Humiliating us. It's funny, even. And men who emotionally break under those things, or cry for help, or show weakness are considered pathetic, "not real men", weak, etc. etc., and this comes mostly from women, as much as you like to deny it.EVERYTHING is way, way less bad when it happens or is done to a boy or man, as opposed to a girl or woman, because you, your bodies, your feelings, your dignity, your safety, your souls, your fate, ALL of that is given a billion times more value and importance in our society. How the fuck don't you people realize that. Are you seriously gonna deny all these things I just said? This is also why people like you think that women "have it worse". Because even the exact same thing is CONSIDERED to be a billion times worse when it's done to a girl or woman. Because only YOUR problems are actually considered problems. Even the exact same thing is considered a billion times worse when it happens or is done to you. A ton of things are just "normal" for men.
@hurzwurzen OH give me a break...
