Oh Kuwait but still.
On quality of life, I think it’s a bit worse than places like Switzerland according to the indexes. But those kind of indexes are always a bit iffy
I’ve been to Switzerland about 15 times. It’s very similar to the United States. I would say the USA has a better quality of life than big metro areas such as Zurich, and Geneva.
With all due respect, but individual experiences are so related to so many biases that they’re not really that relevant to compare countries with sufficient validity.
What would make Switzerland have a better quality of life? I agree Switzerland is very capitalistic, very successful economically, and educated.
I don’t know. There are these indexes that usually take in account many relevant stuff and then poof out a model. I’d have to read up on the literature. But Switzerland has economic success, their is sufficient social nobility, there is good healthcare, there is high freedom and that sort of stuff
Something I like more about Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Germany, is the government doesn’t really censor anything. They probably have a more accurate view of the world. Due to lack of diversity in the countries in I mentioned the crime rate is probably much lower.
Mate, Germany (where its a federal crime to draw a swastica) is far from uncensored. Honestly, Switzerland and other small countries like that have a greater quality of life because of their homogeneous people. Its not hard to get along and work together when you're the same as everyone around you.

Making the USA #1 in the world
Plus our power built up with our entry into WWI and thus entry into World politics.
Probably a big part
