But even if he did, what law is there that forbids that? There is no law that says anything of the kind, so the answer is “no”- it’s not illegal.
31 states and Washington, D. C., prohibit voting twice in the same election: Alaska, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and Wyoming
How can you think that I’m saying it’s not illegal to vote twice?I’m saying that it’s not illegal to tell others to vote twice, exactly as your question asks. Are you really that dumb? Again, where does it say that you can’t tell others to break a law? Freedom of speech... remember?
So you're saying rape is illegal, but telling someone to rape someone is legal. Are YOU that stupid. Well you're a trump supporter so I guess I answered my own question
In criminal law, incitement is the encouragement of another person to commit a crime. Depending on the jurisdiction, some or all types of incitement may be illegal. Smh.
I asked you for the actual statute. Incitement of violence is not even illegal. Many congressmen have just recently done exactly that. Rep. Pressly a member of the “squad” recently did that, on national tv. There may e some instances where lawyers have twisted certain statements to appeal to those who want to take down someone, but there’s no actual law about “incitement”, but I challenge you to produce it.
You just revealed you dishonesty, by implying that I’m a Trump supporter, which I guess is important to you, even though it’s totally irrelevant. How shallow can you be?
If I tell someone to puke in your dead skull, am I committing a crime?
Lol i gave up speaking with you when you resorted to insults. Typical of you
Really? Just curious, what woulfd you suggest he be impeached for? Is it illegal to say what they claim he said? It’s illegal to vote twice, obviously, but if I told people to try to vote twice, what law am I breaking?
It is illegal to advocate breaking the law. I don't care who breaks the law; only that it is applied equally to all people including politicians.
You said “ I am certain that it is illegal”. Please cite the law? You are so “certain” about?
Again, where does it say it’s illegal to advocate breaking the law? If it were true, many people would be indicted for that, so what about that?
You’re making things up... lol
It would be easier to cite what is legal. As the American legal code is insanely large. I am not a legal scholar, but I have heard legal scholars say that this would be illegal. As such I trust their assessment; as I really don't want to read through over 3 stories of pages that comprises the legal code.
And I have read and heard many legal scholars say the exact opposite. I trust their assessment. So now where are we? You still cannot definitively say it’s illegal.
Freedom of speech isn't freedom from consequences.
Never claimed it was. Still a comedian is able to make a joke about murdering the president and will not be arrested.
But he suggest others to do it or he could be held accountable
I’ve never heard of a comedian being arrested on murder charges when someone heard his joke and killed someone. Have you?
@OutdoorsForLife I've never heard of case where someone was actually murdered and the murderer claimed to have done it at the suggestion of a comedian. Have you?
No I haven’t
@OutdoorsForLife Neither have I.
