It's actually not. Here is a proof: I have never spoken out on child sex trafficking. That doesn't mean I am part of the problem. There are lots of problems in the world that some of use have never addressed. That doesn't mean we are complicit in the problem.

Then why do people advance the illogical idea? I think it's because they want to "shame" those who aren't as passionate about the problem as they are. I am open to other ideas though!
