Outstanding response. You should write a medium. com article about this.
Why thank you for your very kind comment. I also very much appreciate the recommendation. I work in politics and will give it a look. Thanks again - and for the "thumbs up," too.
We need for insightful voices to circulate. You did a good job of avoiding partisanship in the intro. What many modern nitwits don’t get is you automatically lose a large segment of readers with an opener such as “you are a racist if you watch conservative so and so” or “you are a brainwashed liberal moron if you support this cause”. You laid it out tactfully. Please publish an article on medium. com about this. More influencers will pay attention to it.
Again, very flattering. I am not familiar with Medium. com and as I am a political consultant I must take some care about publishing things under my own name - hence my presence here under my "Nightdrot" nom de guerre. However, I will look into it and in fact would enjoy being published. Thanks again.
Hope you consider this sir. thanks again for your contribution.

It’s a paradigm issue. We focus or ignore facts that feel are logical. But since the 60s the media has gone like this: fair, logical but almost boring > 80s: more personality which began more partisan influence > 90s: increased partisanship BUT a conscious effort to not make it obvious > Iraq War/2000s: more partisanship but STILL trying to let the cat out of bag: 2008: sick blatant favoritism to a presidential figure (Obama) > gay marriage/Trump: cat is COMPLETELY out the bag that they are “social activists.”
