In Tulsa, on June 29th at approximately 3:30am, Seargant Craig Johnson and Aurash Zarkeshan responded to a traffic stop of David Anthony Ware because Ware had 2 month old expired registration, turned left at a red light, nearly ramming into their cruiser as a result, and made lane changes without signaling, they made the decision to pull him over. Ware didn't have a license or insurance with him, so the officers asked for his information verbally so they could write it down, Ware complied at first, but the more questions they asked, the less cooperative he became. They asked him to step out of the car since it had to be towed for expired registration and Ware quickly became angry and saying he won't get out of the car. The officers gave him the lawful verbal command to exit the car 40 times, to no effect and gave numerous warnings that if he didn't exit the vehicle, he would be tased and pulled out. He still refused, so they deployed a taser 3 times, to no effect. They kept telling him he needs to leave the car and he pushed back at them when they tried to pull him out, so they pepper sprayed him twice. Ware still refused to exit the vehicle, so they grabbed him again and successfully pulled him out. However, for a split second, his right hand was out of sight and he had a gun on the floor The officers didn't see it, Ware grabbed the gun and shot Seargant Craig Johnson, then shot Zarkeshan, as he went down, Ware ran up to Zarkeshan and shot him in the head before getting into his friend's car and driving away. Seargant Johnson died and left behind a wife and two kids, i can't begin to imagine how hard it was for the wife to tell her kids that daddy isn't coming home. Zarkeshan is in stable condition, however due to the shot to the head, his long term fate is unclear, but it's clear that he has a long road ahead of him after seeing his supervisor viciously murdered. The video is very hard to watch, i warn you.
