Exactly! Spot on.
@Yaaten Thanks for your kind comment.
Oh God, she doesn't deserve a song about her. She's just a petulant brat, a loud-mouth who thinks she something because stupid adults are actually taking her seriously (or at least pretending to).
@Yaaten that will all change when she meets her first boyfriend
She is absolutely not, there is a new documentary that filmed her candidly and you can see the real Greta.
@Zeldaismyqueen I saw a documentary once with lots of candid footage that showed how Hitler was a good guy who just wanted to save Germany from Bolshevism. I'm not even joking, it's called, "The Greatest Story Never Told." It's on bitchute. Point being, you can make a documentary that says up is down and black is white and idiots who don't know any better will lap it up, hook, line, and sinker.

"How dare you"-speech was the worst rehearsed speeches ever. It seems like she looked at her script and start crying on purpose. I feel sorry for her.
@Dreamy2020 Indeed. It was painfully obvious. And yet met with ringing applause. A sad state of humanity.
People are naive though. They believe anything as you say it convincingly. www.psychologytoday.com/.../7-reasons-why-we-fall-fake-news
She's not a "kid" anymore, she's now 17, and those "annoying pricks" hate her because we don't like being lectured to by a snotty, condescending, self-righteous, hypocritical, clueless twat!
@Yaaten is this Cully?
@Yaaten she is a child and old men seem to really hate her. But she has inspired millions of teenagers to take science seriously and that is really who she speaks to. Any adult men who gets upset by her are jokes
@Zeldaismyqueen Well... no. Not really. It isn't just "old men" who do not like her. The people who despise her are those who actually listen to the dribble she preaches, and realise she is just full of empty words that mean precisely nothing.
@Yaaten seventeen is still a minor, she is a kid. When she made headlines she was also a kid. Grow up and pick on someone your own age, she’s making positive change.
She's not changing anything, positive or otherwise. She just complains a lot, pulls faces, and tells people off.
@Yaaten Oh she is. I work with teenagers, and you wouldn't believe how much they respect her. Their attitude towards the climate crisis changed, they care about the science, they want to research more, change their behaviors. It's amazing. I don't think old men really understand her impact.
@Zeldaismyqueen There is no "climate change crisis" though. The science - the ACTUAL science, as opposed to the consensus-based politics - reveals that, overall, what's now occurring is well within normal parameters.
Greta Thunberg does not take science seriously. If she did then she would be doing her best to study and focus solely on doing so instead of spending all her time spewing out emotional dribble in front of politicians and the media. The result of her "work" is going to be contrary to a scientific mindset. Whining emotionally about issues rather than focusing on solving them will inspire people to believe that letting out one's emotions in an uncontrollable fashion and not learning anything about the issue is to have a scientific mindset. If you want to find people who do their best to move closer to a "greener" world then look to big tech companies such as those run by Elon Musk. He has in a very short time made reusing rockets possible and strongly boosted the trend of buying and developing electric cars. He also made huge donations towards growing more trees.Greta Thunberg hasn't done anything but cheering on the ego of people who believe that complaining about an issue is the same thing as solving them. In other words, she's done nothing but indulging fools and stupid people to feel better about themselves for doing absolutely nothing.
@Gustav1 Not at all. You completely missed her impact. Among teenagers, they are now researching the climate crisis, changing their lives, taking it seriously. She is on the autism spectrum but that didn't even matter, she still reached millions of kids who now take the environmental crisis more seriously than before. She did way more than that idiot Elon Musk.
Zeldaismyqueen, you don't know what you're talking about.
Yes but per capita emissions of US is four or five times over China and India. Not to mention many of those emissions are to make products that only westerners consume.
@Tea-SpaghettiOur emissions are carbon dioxide and water, due to strict regulations, those other countries release heavy metals and toxins, willy nilly and their citizens get sick and die; while those downwind, like California, suffer less so. Per capita emissions are irrelevant to total emissions since we only have one planet; China has five times the total emissions and those are filthy compared to our pure water and carbon dioxide emissions.
China does not have five times the emissions of US. If anything they’re only within a foot of each other and US has 1/4 the number of people.
China’s emissions passed those of the U. S. in 2005, and by 2012 had surpassed the combined contribution of both the U. S. and the EU. I have no issue with carbon dioxide and water emissions, but with toxic chemicals and heavy metals being spewed into the atmosphere by brown majority countries while autistic children and hipsters lecture vastly cleaner white majority countries on global pollution.India tops the world in pollution-related deaths, accounting for 2.5 million of the total 9 million deaths attributed to pollution worldwide in 2015, according to a recent report by the Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health. China was second on the list, with 1.8 million total fatalities due to pollution
Toxic metals is certainly horrific but the more globally relevant one is greenhouse gas. I agree that China is making a big dent in the world right now and perhaps India in the near future. The politics of the situation are complex I agree and cannot be solved from some idealistic young girl yes...
Wrong. Global warming is not only not verifiable but not even a threat. There are different types of air pollutants, such as toxic gases, particulates, and biological molecules and they're what kills people, not gaseous tree food like carbon dioxide.
