Ironically I think Nationalists are one of the biggest threats to their own countries. Nothing helpful about fanatics when what you need is people with more objective views, its like filling your board room with yes men and expect them to help you reach a better solution. Granted I find nationalists to be worse than simple "yes men" in that they are inherently self-destructive. Nationalists are inherently isolationists and militaristic in that they will always lead to a situation where you come into conflict with other countries and expect to be get the most out of everyone else.
Nationalism does not build alliances. It does not build friendships. It does not build a stable world and when the dust settles its usually the nationalistic countries that loses in the end because they neglected cooperation and reality at large.

It still can be used on some of people who do hard jobs but did not change benefit each other. Like Japan have population aging. More and more elders can not offer their life and feel burden to work those basical jobs.
It is not. And it does not take a nationalist to realise exporting industry to China only weakens your own country long term, which inevitably harms the working class.
