What are your own feelings about the realization that we all may have to live with Covid around forever?

- What is wrong with people? Covid, covid, covid. It's the fucking flu. In fact, it's a variety of flu that is a risk almost entirely to only old people. And even then, it can be fatal to a small percentage, especially if properly treated.
You would think the people had never heard of germs before. You would think that no one had ever gotten sick in their life.
People actually believe that if they come in contact with C-19 they are certain to die.
According to the CDC, the actual infection/fatality ratio (if you get infected) is:
1-19 years: 0.00003%
20-49 years: 0.0002%
50-69 years: 0.005%
70+ years: 0.54%
10 million people contracted tuberculosis last year. 1.5 million died. How many Covidophobes are aware of that? How many wore masks all their lives to protect against TB?
CDC study found that only 3.9 percent of the people who tested positive for C0V1D-I9 NEVER wore masks leading up to their infection and positive test result, and 70.6 of those who tested positive ALWAYS wore masks. This evidence could suggest that masks actually help to infect the people who wear them.1|11|0Is this still revelant? - I think it's something we all might just have to adjust to paris... It is what it is... But hopefully the masks at least won't have to be forever1|00|0Is this still revelant?

- Half and half.
Part of me still can't believe that we've been living like this for a year and can't wait to go back to "normal." Sometimes I'll be in the store and it'll hit me, "Why does everybody have masks on... oh right."
But there's another part of my that is just so used to it by now. Sometimes I can't remember if the person I was talking to had on a mask or not. I'd like to be hopeful that this ends soon but right now I just can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
It makes me really sad, more so than nervous, if this is how we have to live for the rest of our lives but I've kind of come to accept it.1|00|0Is this still revelant?I love this One, @angelgirl7 It sounds so Much like Me. I now get the "Stupids" with Wearing a mask. Some change from being a Master on Here, dear. lolxx
- it is up to God on whether or not this continues to B around us or not ! thanks1|00|0Is this still revelant?

936- We live with Flu A and Flu B, strep, and other season viruses. It's one more virus. . . but eventually the vaccines will catch up with the China Flu.1|10|0
@Agape93 Okay, but they are diseases that we live with, and at least the influenza has a significant annual mortality rate. That is the point of the comment.
- Show All Show Less
- The amount of idiotic answers to this question is unbelievable! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ This is why this pandemic doesn't end.
"It's just a flu" - Oh yes it is, until it hits you hard or kills someone you care about.
Anyways, I'm afraid Paris. I have asthma, my mother and my sister have it too. So we are very venerable. If we have to live with this disease forever, we will learn how to live with. It will be hard, it will be dangerous, it will be strange and sad but perhaps we will have no choice other than dealing with the virus.1|00|0 - I was infected by covid ,
my symptoms were fever and headache and I overcame it in just 2 days.
completely fine just had 20%headache with loss of smell and taste for few days.
My age is 24 and I am a normal guy mostly on the leaner side.
No one needs to worry about covid too much if you take care about yourself in this way.
1. Do exercise 3-4 times a week.
2. Drink amla juice everyday 1 teaspoonful , it has antioxidants and keep your body ready in advance if something even tries to attack.
3. no junk and increase fruits and veggies.
The issue with casualties is mostly with those who have other ailments, predominantly diabetis and lungs issues.1|00|0 - It doesn’t worry me too much because there have been other viruses which we have learned to live around and adapt to. Examples include the influenza (which has gradually weakened and many of us take vaccines for every year), and what about TB? Here in the UK I know that we’re all vaccinated against what was once a deathly virus caused illness.
If covid will last for the foreseeable future, at least we’ll somehow find a way to adapt like we have in the past.1|00|0 - Nothing's changing. They still won't let you out of your house when the general public find out that these vaccines don't actually stop the spread or stop you getting it, they just lessen the symptoms somewhat.
Unless you get vaccinated you won't be able to go anywhere or do anything, because you'll be a 'public health threat', as you are sans mask.1|00|0 - Excited that along time ago this is why I’ve been saying that we need to stop wearing the damn mask and realize that we’re never going to get rid of Covid in China has released Covid onto the world permanently thank you China. I understand not wanting to give somebody a deadly disease but we can’t go around wearing masks our entire lives as a matter fact I’ll give it until I get the vaccine after that I’m not wearing a damn mask.1|00|0
Why I’m 27 the likely hood of me dying for it is 1 in 100,000 I understand wearing the mask around people who are above the age of 65 but really anyone below 65 should really actually try to get covid (unless you have a pre-existing condition like diabetes or heart disease or asthma). Between the age of 0 and 64 there has been 25,647 death from covid form form form 65+ 266,647 (Now I’m only using the United States in my numbers. These numbers come from the CDC when you add up all the numbers between 0-64 and 64 and above. Out of 329,593 death that means roughly 8% under the age of 64 died from covid 92% has been over that age of 65
So what this tells me is that the young really aren’t dying form it unlike the Spanish flue of 1918 if you have pre existing conditions wear a mask if your above the age of 65 wear a mask if you under 65 and perfectly healthy your not going to die form it, and if it’s true that once you get covid you can’t get it again then we should all try to get covid to get that immunity. To use your analogy you let the guard dog out to go out or a mouse instead of a fox waiting the chicken coop.
- Live any virus its going to hang around, and the only reason we've run into it now is because some idiot in China was buggering around with it.
We've never been able to wipe out any of the viruses we are susceptible to only develop vaccines that lessen the bad effects of those viruses.1|00|0In the scheme of things Covid19 is a minnow, If the Flu comes back with a vengeance then I'd be concerned.
@bolverk That is not true that we haven't been able to completely eliminate any virus. We did completely eliminate the smallpox virus. We have also come close to eliminating polio, but there are still a few hundred cases of polio every year in third world countries. That said, we are unlikely to ever eliminate this coronavirus.
- Oh I'm not worried about covid in the slightest. I'm worried about a scared mob of idiots ushering in a new era of slavery and subjugation
Stop being afraid, it's a fucking cold, like a flu. This whole world shattering disaster is not a result of the virus, it's a result of tyrannical governments, lying media, and unthinking, fearful citizens1|01|0 - Resentful. If world leaders took this seriously from the get go and did what had to be done to stop it, and if fuck wits put on the fucking mask like they were supposed to, this wouldn’t be the case.1|00|0
- You mean like how we live with the flu and every other sickness that pops up as years go on? Then yeah.1|00|0
- I'm not afraid of the virus, sooner or later it becomes not more dangerous than a cold.
I'm afraid of totalitarianism, our glorious elites want use the virus for slow introduction of it.2|01|1 - The flu has been around for many years, the Spanish flu has been around for over 100 years and so will covid.1|00|0
- As long as I can sell mask supplies and other supplies, I can live with it.1|10|0
- Its ok with me once i get the vaccine an there will be more new viruses as scientists say just as deadly so hopefully they will design a portable scanner that lets you ilumante it or be able to use a virus kilker on contact surfices with light1|00|0
- We will live with it forever in the same way that we live with Polio forever. The disease exists, but we can mitigate it. Maybe so much so that there might at some point only be a few handful of simultaneous infections.1|00|0
- It will teach everyone there is no point with living in fear.1|00|0
- We live with many diseases, I'm not sure why anyone would think that this should be any different unless all they do is listen to bias news that have been using this for political reasons.1|00|0
- It may be around forever like the flu is but if you can deal with the flu then covid will be the same1|00|0
- We have to live with the common cold, the flu and childhood diseases and we immunize against them too. It's what you have to do.0|00|0
- no issue get vaccinated and then its just like living with flu just keep ya jabs up to date. only like living with other diseases that have been around for years1|00|0
- Nah it will be gone eventually just like the Spanish flu1|00|0
- As time goes on it will mutate and get less deadly, more like a cold.1|00|0
Less deadly. Evolutionarily, a virus that makes people very sick doesn’t spread as well. People are bedridden if they’re really sick. That doesn’t spread the virus as quickly. One that doesn’t make you that sick gets spread easily.
- I don't think people care enough to stay in it comes a point where it's considered murder and will be treated like it I hope1|00|0
- Your have to except it cause it's a virus like the flu it will always be here1|00|0
More Contagious though and More Strains that are More Contagious too. We are NOT even Sure how Long the vaccine will Last? xx
- The coronavirus has been around for the last 8000 years in some form or fashion. SARS and MERS are a couple lethal ones from the past. HCoV are the most common forms, these cause the common cold.0|00|0
- We also live with the Bubonic Plague, measles, Polo, Malaria, and Smallpox.1|00|0
- I don't care but this summer I am going on a solo road trip if its the last thing I do.0|00|0

- I’ve accepted it, Paris1|00|0
- Anonymous15 hGonna play along with the system for a while. But sooner or later an uprising is gonna be needed to free ourselves as humanity from this opression.0|00|0

- very disappointed with the chinese1|00|0
- too many stupid rebels.1|00|0
