When it's the left we say it was extremists, not the "real" [whatever ideology].

But when we see crazy footage of people supposedly supporters of Trump, we take them as representative? They are obviously not the average Trump supporter, especially when they condemn such actions.

Weirdly, the left seemed to dismiss BLM/antifa violence as acts of extremists not a part of the "real" cause they're fighting for. But then also defend the violence with things like "voice of the unheard". The Trump supporters largely rejected the riots, on all sides. But we only give the left a pass -- I see how it is.
