Are liberals more polite than conservatives?

There are a lot of different types of liberals and conservatives. College professors (liberal) are more polite than construction workers (conservative). However, Mormons (conservative) are more polite than mushroom-addicted abstract artists (liberal).

I do not think absolute statements like that are generally accurate. I have live in major cities and rural areas. The people in rural areas that tend to be more conservatives are much more polite in my personal experience.
