It’s not about the name “Trump” vs “Biden”. It’s not about their personality. It’s not about what they can tweet (if they can even CAN tweet).
It’s about POLICY not personality.

25107- Well, let's see...
There were riots before the inauguration. There were riots the day of the inauguration. (See also Seattle, Portland and Denver.) There was a pandemic before the inauguration. There is still one. There were social tensions before the inauguration. There are social tensions after the inauguration.
Indeed, insofar as those social tensions were born of the frustrations among the lower middle class as the economy transitions away from their skill sets, things just got a wee bit worse. President Biden having not helped matters by wiping out 11,000 blue collar union jobs - quite literally - at the stroke of a pen with his Executive Order ending the XL Keystone pipeline.
Whatever may be said of the merits of ending the pipeline one way or the other, there cannot be any doubt that it provided a lot of jobs. Suffice to say, when the President ended it, those jobs evaporated and within 12 hours of his putting pen to paper, the pink slips went out. An unusual way to begin a new Administration, to say no more. (It in the bargain annoying Canada - so much for ending "America First.")
Further, when asked at his Senate confirmation hearing what would happen to the people who lost those jobs, Transportation Secretary-designate Buttigieg's facile, not to say glib, answer was that he looked forward to them getting "clean energy jobs." The fact that the education, skill sets and experience necessary to the - as yet to be created - "clean energy jobs" will likely be very different from those necessary to building pipelines and such.
Here another similarity between past and present. The Democratic party, its' image of itself notwithstanding, has become and so remains the party of big business and the wealthy. A process that began in the 1980s and so remains.
As to the new President, he sets a tone not all that different from his predecessor. Mr. Biden has attempted to portray himself as a more unifying force than Mr. Trump. This he may, with time, prove to be, but at the moment he is as divisive in his way as Mr. Trump is in his. Mr. Biden being, after all, the presidential candidate who has - Trump style - referred to his opponent as a clown, who has told African-Americans that they are not black if they don't vote for him, who also told an African-American audience that the Republicans wanted to put them back in chains, who injected race into the Capitol Hill "uprising." Who once threatened to fight with a voter who disagreed with him on gun control.
Then, as far as the pandemic, less than 24 hours into his term, Mr. Biden's CDC Director has begun to backtrack on the President's campaign pledge to get 100 million vaccinations completed by the end of his first 100 days. This while offering a plan not all that different from the one his predecessor had implemented. (Indeed, CNN was forced to backtrack on a story that reported the Biden Administration had come in to find that the Trump administration had left no program in place.)
Then there is the matter of the "impeachment of the week," as some of my friends who work on Capitol Hill - I work in politics - are calling it. That was on the schedule before Mr. Trump left office and - well - it still is on the docket.
The old saw has it, the more things change, the more they stay the same. As the above litany suggests - and there was more that I could have highlighted but I was nudging up against that 40000 character limit - that is quite true and so apt to remain so. Change and governing requiring more than just showing up.3|00|1Well, I cannot say that I am a fan of former President Trump. In fact, though I am a Republican I do not share his populist views and thought that, on the whole, he was not a positive force though not without his accomplishments. At the very least a broken clock is right twice a day.
However, President Biden, as I alluded to above, is not much different from Mr. Trump. Basically being Mr. Trump only with a "D" after his name.
That said, in terms of the question as it was posed, to assert that much has changed just because Mr. Biden assumed office is to count chickens well before they are hatched. Not to mention that it remains to be seen if the changes to come will amount to a net positive.
To save space, I offer my assessment - grant that these were written a while back - of both men in my response to these questions. Both answers were rated HMO.
TRUMP:
Why do so many people support Trump? ↗
BIDEN:
What do you think of Joe Biden? ↗- Show All Show Less
I think it's utterly ridiculous to pretend that Biden is not much different from Trump. Come on.
@Denial1984 Well, what is the difference between Mr. Trump supporting trade protectionism and Mr. Biden supporting it? What is the difference between Mr. Trump's vituperative language and Mr. Biden's telling an African-American audience that the GOP wants them back in chains.
It is not that there are NO differences, it is that the differences are less pronounced than meets the eye. People react to the different party labels and do not go beyond that superficial difference. This not only neglecting the coalition nature of the parties - Joe Manchin, were he from Kansas rather than West Virginia would almost certainly be a Republican - but also the fact that in this case, both men nurture a certain peevishness (C'mon man!) and sense of grievance that they then play out on the political stage.@Denial1984 Oh, just as aside, the African-American civil rights attorney Leo Terrell - who, to be fair is a Trump supporter - made the very same point I did about the essential similarities between President Biden and former President Trump. You may wish to examine the two men's approaches to governance and their personal styles more closely.
- It will take some time for Biden to do damage to the country and the process may take a few years to unfold, but I am worried for the future of our republic!8|147|7
@Sabretooth I have no desire to engage in any political argument which will lead nowhere. Do you understand that?
- Show All Show Less
@Sabretooth If you are incapable of understanding that politics involves opinions and preferences, not indisputable facts, then perhaps you need to reflect on the possibility that this reflects a deficiency in yourself rather than being proof positive that half of the country is filled with lunatics.
@Sabretooth Your bias makes you think that conclusions are facts, but they are just conclusions, biased conclusions. This is the problem with political "discussions." Both sides assume that they are right and, therefore, the other side MUST be wrong, instead of understanding that most of our conclusions about politics are opinions and not facts. Self-righteousness is not attractive on anyone.
... so, we haven't had trade wars that crippled the farming industry? no pandemic that's killed 400,306+2,297 New Deaths and put 12.6 million people out of work? no civil unrest?
@Sabretooth I have no desire to engage in any political argument which will lead nowhere. Do you understand that?
DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?@ThisIsMyOpinion. Do you understand that intelligent and reasonable people can have different views on political matters and it does not mean that one group is wrong or stupid?
Lol love how you post something super condemnatory of Biden and then get all passive aggressive as soon as someone disagrees with you. Maybe you're the one who needs a lesson in politics being about differences of opinion rather than fact.

literary the end of the United States joe Biden yesterday passed into a law that every Women’s Only institution now has to allow in transit gender women aka men so you will not see women taking any trophies home anymore women cannot compete against biological man they will lose if this was a video game that would be different but this is not. So Joe Biden has officially destroyed women’s sports that’s one.
he is changing the Census now allowing immigrants legal and illegal to participate in the census which will radically shift voting districts their hope is to turn dhe district blue so that the Republicans will never win again.
they said before the election that they are going to end a filibuster which is the way that the minority party blocks a bill,
after they’re done with that they’re going to pack the Supreme Court so it will no longer be run by conservatives and everything they do will be looked at as constitutional when it’s not.
they are going to add two new states to the union DC in Puerto Rico traditionally you were supposed to add a state that would be red and blue at the same time so that one side isn’t controlling the senate and one doesn’t have a super majority but there going to ignore that.
they are going to crack down on conservatives not allowing us to speak they’re going to kick us off of Twitter and Facebook and since we’re not allowed to set up our own social media anymore will basically be silenced.
at this point we’re getting into speculation but I wouldn’t doubt that they’re going to pressure her credit card companies into choosing to payFor things you enjoy like I enjoy the Daily Wire which is a conservative news outlet I pay 20 bucks a month for all access I wouldn’t doubt it that the credit card companies will say we are no longer going to support you subscribing to the Daily Wire so we’re going to either get rid of your credit card company or just not pay for it you’ll have to pay in cash which is impossible went it comes to online Subscriptions.
basically the election of Joe Biden is the end of the country going to put up with that shit we’re just going to stop listening to the federal government that’s simple since we can’t succeed from the union and trust me Texas and Florida would if they could.
if he doesn’t do any of the things that I mentioned above then there will not be a Civil War and they will not be an end to the United States if he does any of the things that I mentioned above there will be a Civil War and there will be an end to the United States1|00|0- Show All Show Less
Yup era of unity and bankruptcy in a recession they’re putting a $15 federal minimum wage are you kidding me why would anyone hire anyone without any experience now. If you are 16 years old looking for a fast food workers job good luck no one’s going to hire you you know I need experience in fast food to work in fast food so basically unless your parents own a restaurant which they don’t because they got shut down during the pandemic you can’t get a job joe Biden killed more than just the fossil fuel industry he has essentially killed the only other industry we have in United States fast food
I've worked in the restaurant industry, it died under trumps mishandling of the coronavirus.
@ChefPapiChulo no it wasn’t because of trump it was because of your states poor leadership. The way Trump handled covid is the way he should have handled covid in a federalist society. The states have the power to make there own calls, this is why Texas Florida Louisiana read much all red states haven’t lost the majority of their small businesses while blue states like mine have. If we lived in a centralized society meeting the federal government is the main government. (Think mexico after the Mexican American war). They lost Texas so they blamed it on the federalist system so they went for a more central government. If we lived in a central government then yes you would blame trump since we live in a federalist society you have to blame the governors.
@ChefPapiChulo either way joe Biden has now guaranteed that your parents will not get their business back because they now have to pay everyone $15 an hour I doubt they’re going to be able to afford that. Same with the small restaurant in seattle Portland L. A New York Chicago Texas and Florida will now be our riches cities
if youve ever worked in the restaurant industry, which to me it doesn't sound like you have. Although you could have, I'm not sure. But if you have worked in a restaurant, you would know how people are exploited. The amount of work you have to do, high stress, lots of repetitive movements, long hours on your feet, while being paid 10-12 hours... just isn't worth it. We are often seen as slaves in the restaurant industry, and treated as such.
@ChefPapiChulo I've worked fast food not sit down restaurant (which is we are talking about) I was a dish washer at one eyed jacks during the rally in Sturges but not on the cooking end.
I get it it’s hard work no one is denying that the issue is by paying you 15 dollars and hour in the middle of a depression recession or whatever you wanna call it. Is a bad idea that would be almost the equivalent of paying everyone one dollar during the 1930s (equal to 14.60$ now days). People would not have been able to afford it so they just wanted to hire anybody and go out of business because they don’t have employees to do the work because they can’t afford the employees. Where if you simply have to pay them what you can afford that will allow people to hire without worrying about going bankrupt which will boost the economy. Under Trump yea we probably could have had a 15 dollar minimum wage and done just fine (prior to covid). Now it’s a terrible idea and won’t help the economy grow at allwell the idea is to pump more money into the average person, and that will put more money into the economy that will help fuel everything. $15 an hour is a way to stimulate the economy. Where i am, thats basically already the minimum wage, its very easy to find a job that pays that. But as for some areas that struggle more, i can see it being a problem.
@ChefPapiChulo what state are you in if you don’t mind me asking? I’m in Washington state. Minimum here is 13.50 I believe in seattle it’s already 15. (Actually the idea of a $15 minimum wage actually comes from Washington state it’s a woman name Kshama Sawant. who came up with it she on the seattle city council and she’s a complete idiot in my opinion beyond the minimum wage thing.
Also it’s not a problem for those Big box office grocery stores like Walmart or those massive chain restaurant industries like Olive Garden or Amazon, but your average business and actually the majority of businesses in the United States are not in the same league as these giant corporations. Say your a mom and pop dinner and you have 10 employees and you pay them $15 an hour i’m going to take your 10 hours a day 10 employees all working 10 hours that’s 150$ Do you pay all your workers for one hour work tat 1,500$ a day (10X15). Now if your open 5 days a week that’s that 7,500 a week or 30’000 a month + whatever your spending on food dishes electricity water rent etc. now because of the pandemic no one is going to restaurants (unless your in a red state you can go to a restaurant in Florida and most counties in Texas Austin isn’t doing well but it’s a blue city). also with the media malpractice striking fear into everyone’s hearts I doubt small owned restaurants will be coming about.
The issue I think is when the democrats (not all). Here the word corporations they instantly think Walmart or Amazon not your parent’s restaurants which is a small corporation but a corporation none the less.I think restaurants will charge their customers more. Most people spend more than whats on the bill in terms of tipping. Servers often make more in a 4 hour workday, than cooks in a 10 hour work day, because they work on tips. So more of the money that customers are already paying will just go towards cooks, and they'll tip a little less to the server. I've worked in some restaurants where the servers could bring in $400 a day for a 6 hour service, while the cooks have been there 10 hours prepping, and then executing the service and make considerably less.
Im glad you brought up the restaurant industry, because its about time cooks get their fair share of pay in terms of the amount of work that they do.@ChefPapiChulo oh yea you won’t have a restaurant if you didn’t have the cook, They probably should be salary workers and not hourly.
And yes when you force businesses to pay a curtain amount of money they have to raise prices remember the 5 dollar pizza at little Cesar or the 5 dollar foot long at subway once the minimum wage went up that ended and the prices went up it’s now 7 dollar seems like a small hike up but that get past on to the consumer now when your not in a depression it’s not a big issue, when your in a depression and you can’t work because no one is hiring because of the pandemic and no one is spending because of the pandemic and now in order to to get back to work you have to pay your employee more when you haven’t been making money in a year or 2 (when ever we get out of this pandemic). So what will end up happening is less growth a lot of smaller corporations going out of business permanently,
If we had the same economy that trump built it would make since to raise the minimum wage what ever that means and depending on the state your in like Jacksonville Wyoming doesn’t need 15$ and hour L. A would make since, regardless if you like trump or not look at what he actually did and not what the media said and you’ll understand why he was a good President. He might not have handled the pandemic right but I don’t think anyone has

When people learn that monetary system doesn’t mean much and it’s more based on the size of a country’s military. If other countries see your military as stronger then you will be looked at as financially capable of defending yourself against other countries trying to attack. My professor said when the US won WW2 their goal was to destroy the “competition” with countries like Japan. Once the US destroyed countries it would take others years to rebuild while the US used that time to flourish.
But it didn’t end there, the UN, IMF and world bank were created in the late 1940s to benefit the western system by creating a monetary system that til this day I don’t like. Third world countries were left being subservient to countries that gained profits through a capitalist system/ideology. When neoliberalism took off in the 80s the idea was more privatization, less government restrictions, better relations with countries but again it only benefitted the wealthy and screwed others over. Don’t people wonder why the US has “special” relations with Israel and Saudi Arabia? It’s not based on good agreements. In typical US fashion it is to use their military means and invade/colonize the Middle East of its resources (gold, oil, silver, etc.).
Last time I checked the Middle East never owed or belonged to the US. Whether it’s Clinton, Obama, Trump, Regan, Carter, Johnson, Bush or whomever have always supported war and colonialism. So then I ask people this, would you allow someone to break into your home or step on to your property to start shit? If the answer is no, how do you think other countries feel when America does that to others? That’s why America is so hated today. In the last 5 years or so I’ve believed that the downfall of the US will come from within not by others. People freak out about countries like Iran, but Iran has never fired one missile at the US nation, yet look at what white extremists have done for decades.
Going back to the monetary system, the government have fooled the US citizens that they need to pay for health care and that your taxes go towards the betterment of America, really? Can you firmly say every tax payer dollar goes towards something good? When there have been plenty of scandals for decades of politicians using that money for their own benefit. Meanwhile people yell and scream over socialism and not paying someone else’s tuition... To people with a small mind UNDERSTAND that America’s dollar system is just a ploy and tactic to make you believe that. Money is just paper and colour dye, why do you think the US government is hoarding bricks and bricks and bricks of gold under heavy security. To illustrate the rise and fall of the US I will even post a picture above.
The united states will only get worse and I’m sorry but it’s karma for the suffering the US has caused such as sanctioning other nations, bombing other countries, killing millions of people (ie: Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.). Once people wake up to what “democracy” is and what the US “represents” there will be Americans who lose faith in the government and the system. People are fed lies and believe it *smh*. This is all to uphold a government ideology (capitalism, communism, Zionism, wahabbism). Countries will say “God bless this country” meanwhile they are doing illegal and unlawful acts which the Quran and bible forbidden.
In reality is capitalism any different then communism? China loves gaining profits just as much as the US. Karl Marx is a communist, he’s an atheist. China is a communist country and an atheist based country (especially through govt laws). China goes by Marx’s principles in someway but Marx said he not in favour of a workers exploitation but China exploits their workers. Which is no different then what America does to its workers. If people look at how workers in the US feel depressed or under paid while the rich benefit... This is the world we live in today. People can give my comment a thumbs down but what I just stated is the truth. I’m not taking sides I’m just calling it out. One day, empires like the US will collapse just as the Mongolian empire, Ottoman Empire, Roman Empire and etc all have.1|20|0Watch it fall. xx
- Anonymous1 moI think as time goes on, a lot of people are gonna be in for a rude awakening. When opportunities continue to disappear, when the cost to live continues to become more and more overbearing, when you continue to be taxed more... and when the establishment continues to blow smoke saying “oh it’s ok, we’ve got your back, vote for us this fall... screw that other guy that actually wants to tackle your concerns head on, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about! He’s just a grumpy old, racist man.”
Just wait... the “better times” won’t be coming with cronies in office. It’s all smoke and mirrors. And people will think having a “real politician” in office again is going to just suddenly make everyone feel better. That’s what they want you to think, as our opportunities and American rights and freedoms, and the value of the money in our pockets, continue to dwindle... but “it’s ok... this is the way it’s supposed to be.”
Just wait... people will continue to be unhappy and demand change.1|30|1 - How can America be in anything but big trouble? We have a senile old man as our president whose strings are being pulled by people within our own country who hate our country who are working in conjunction with our foreign enemies to destroy us.
We have several generations of kids now who have been brainwashed in school into believing that their own country is racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and the root of all evil. They hate their own country and think that socialism and communism are better than capitalism. It's INSANE. And they are voting age now. The same leftist machine that controls the schools also controls the broadcast and print media, the social media and now all three parts of the federal law making system. And they are planning to take over the healthcare system, the energy supply system and every other system that makes us the greatest nation in history. Once that happens, our foreign enemies OWN US.
China, Russia, Iran, North Korea... they are all LAUGHING at us. They cannot believe their luck that the party they love, their allies, the Democrats, have seized control of America on their behalf without firing a single shot at us. They all hated President Trump because he was NOT part of the Washington political establishment who is selling out America for their personal enrichment. If Americans don't wake up and realize that, our country (and therefore the entire free world because other free countries only exist because of American generosity) is finished.1|30|0The IS is the one that should be laughing at how lucky they are to no longer have Trump.
You think those countries took Trump seriously? They as well as the entire world know what a clown he is.
No really there is even footage of Macron, Boris Johnson and I can't remember the third laughing at him.
Even the Putin is seen laughing at a play where they are playing Trump the bitch of Russia. I am not joking this happened.
Similar thing happened in australia.
The entire world wasn't afraid of Trump they laughed at him.
"Oh but he made high sanctions to China."
China bought half of the US debt and have you by the balls! Trump is ignorant to know that and the China government actually want you to keep giving them money. - Trump entered with a good to great economy and left with a bad to destroyed economy. Those are just the facts and Trump supporters will blame the pandemic, the one they still call fake and Democrat created, but it happened under Trump regardless of what people will cry.
As Biden enters there's an extremely low chance he will leave with a worse economy. I think we will see great growth BUT I don't think Biden will be able to get us back up to the late-Obama/early-Trump economy. It's not because I don't have faith in him, it's because:
1) It's too great a feat for someone who will likely only have a single term, and yes I said 1 term because I think Biden is truly on his last leg and was only elected to stop Trump.
2) The Republican party will be gunning to block all Democratic efforts. Even some of the kinder Republicans know this is what we're going to see, and the most malicious Republicans want this.
3) I believe the main focus of this administration will likely be preventing another Trump, or the man himself, from rising again. Biden will likely focus on reestablishing international relations and protecting the image of Democrats as he faces scandals (Against himself, Against Republicans, Against America, etc).1|20|1 - Joe is passing a bunch of progressive actions and revoking a bunch of conservative actions like accepting trans soldiers in the military and stopping the wall from being built-Trump supporters and conservatives are whining saying he’s going to or is destroy the country while democrats and liberals are starting to feel hopeful that the country is going to become better for “everyone” not just conservatives.
I think it’s way too early to tell if he’s all talk or not but I liked his inauguration speech and his direct dialogue against racial injustice and systematic racism that’s woven into American history. But we’ll see how he handles the next big events that come in 2021. I doubt it will be a quiet year.1|40|1tisk! were i trans were there ever a draft under trump's term-i'd tweeting ''thank you, trump''... you probably already know why... the moronic lunatic!

- Nothings changed, we have the same corruption happening. It's just on a new timetable now. The country isn't any better or worse going from Trump to Biden, it's just gonna be a new flavor.
The fact is, Biden (as much as I dont like him) is not the worst possible person for the job. He's up there. But I get the feeling most of what he's gonna do is gonna seem like a bigger deal then it is.
I'm more worried about the big corporations lobbying and whatnot to control our politics and manipulate our culture into a set of beliefs that are divisive, selfish, and ultimately self destructive.1|10|0 - I understand the USA is divided and it will take some time to change that, if it will be possible. I don't think Biden is the perfect president, but that said, I'm happy that Trump is gone. It's not that I don't understand Republicans, which I do and there are many good Republican politicians as well. But I didn't like Trump's style. The USA regained it's dignity. Also, I think even more historically significant is that Kamala Harris is now vice-president: the first female in that position, as well as the first person with African-American and South Asian background in that position.1|00|1
- We can all look forward to:
- a stagnant economy at best
- huge swaths of illegal immigration (including dangerous illegals)
- forced “diversity” training at schools, government agencies and corporations about how evil white people are
- more under-qualified people being appointed to positions of power for the sake of “intersectionality”.
- infringements on the right to free speech and the right to bare arms. (censorship and the cancel culture bothers me the most)
- looking more weak against our nations enemies.
But hey Trump’s out of office so I guess it was all worth it right?1|10|0@devilman666 did you see all the changes he made on his first day in office? He immediately did the following:
- stopped all funding of the border wall (I actually don’t care about that)
- reverse several of Trump’s immigration enforcement policies
- got rid of the travel ban. This is NOT an anti Muslim ban. This target certain countries that were know to harbor terrorists
- brought back required “diversity” training at all government agencies.
- tore up Trump’s 1776 project which was an answer you the piece of shit 1619 propaganda thesis that America is founded on racism and hatred.
- mandated all women’s sports team must admit biological males who identify as “female”Trump did basically the same thing day 1 and reversed a bunch of shit Obama had done.
Which of Trumps immigration enforcement policies did he reverse? Do you have evidence he got rid of rhe travel ban? I didn't hear that tbh. Also the country that seems to harbor the most terrorists who want to destroy America, is America. Bruh you have school shooting basically every few months, natually this slowed down because of Covid but once kids are back in school full time it'll go back to how it was before and we'll have one per week.
First of all, what's wrong with diversity training? Second of all, do you have evidence for this because again I didn't hear that.
He has every right to tear up Trump's project if he wants, what's the problem? Tbh I never read the 1776 or the 1619 things, I just dont see what's so angering/illegal about that.
When did he mandate women's sports teams to do this and do you have evidence?- Show All Show Less
@devilman666 are you comparing our country and school shootings to to 3rd world countries with people who strap bombs to themselves and blow up 200 people at a time on the daily
Wow dude, they do that daily? How do they survive blowing themselves up the first time? Oh wait you're overexxagerating. Yeah, school shootings seem comparable to suicide bombers in my opinion, both are psychos trying to make an impact on the world and unless things go wrong both school shooters and bombers tend to die during their attacks.
How are they not comparable?Oh look iraq went nearly 2 years without a suicide bombing, you guys could barely go 6 monthes without a shooting, during a national lockdown.
"Trump did basically the same thing day 1 and reversed a bunch of shit Obama had done."
The things Trump reversed were good, that's the difference. Biden flipped them bad to being bad.
"Do you have evidence he got rid of rhe travel ban?"
Google.
"Also the country that seems to harbor the most terrorists who want to destroy America, is America."
So it's okay to invite more?
"once kids are back in school full time it'll go back to how it was before and we'll have one per week."
Hey, that's bad too. Let's get rid of both international and domestic terrorism.
"First of all, what's wrong with diversity training? Second of all, do you have evidence for this"
Let's try google again:
"The Trump administration had said the order prohibited training that implies anyone is racist or sexist “by virtue of his or her race, sex, and/or national origin.” Civil rights groups said the wording was overly broad and had a chilling effect on workplaces trying to address concepts like white privilege, systemic racism and unconscious bias."
Straight up, the way the Trump administration wanted it was good, that seems like good wording. The "civil rights groups" wanted it changed because it had a chilling effect on their concepts key to their ideological manipulation.
If you say "no one is racist by virtue of their race" and I say "no that's not true" ... I would be sounding like a racist there. "diversity training" and "critical race theory" are inherently racist. But most people just hear "diversity" and think that means everything fine then move on."He has every right to tear up Trump's project if he wants, what's the problem?"
He has the right too, but it's bad. Your ignorance of both of them does not mean everything must be fine. The problem is that the 1619 was more critical race theory pseudo-history and 1776 was Trump's attempt to counter that. There's not *illegal* about it, the problem is that removing the counterpoint and accepting 1619 is inviting insanity into the culture, same issue as critical race theory.
"When did he mandate women's sports teams to do this and do you have evidence? "
Google again:
www.washingtontimes.com/.../@allthatsweetjizz do you have any evidence that Trump's changes were good and Biden's were bad? Cause if not then I have to ignore this due to heresay and personal opinion/bias.
Bruh I wish that worked, like I'd have put that shit on everything in school. "... that's my essay on why I think globalism is actually good" "well done Billy, but one thing, do you have any supporting evidence or sources for your data?" "Google" "A PLUS, AMAZING WORK!"
lmfao you're so dense, I prove your bias wrong and your only response is, "we may be worse criminals but if you let those criminals in then we'll be really fucked.". Makes perfect sense, like I'm sure people in third world countries say the same thing about letting in criminals from America.
Somehow I get the feeling you have no desire for fixing domestic terrorism. What's your solution? Arming teachers and flight attendants?
You know what? Trump is right and we also need to prohibit any training that implies that I'm stupid because that's offensive too. That's sarcasm by the way, get over your fefes and tell me what's genuinely immoral/wrong with what Biden did? They are allowed to maniulate the country to fit their ideology because they won the election.
That wasn't what was said, they used the word "implied", which means if I feel like it was implied then it's illegal. Because implication is as much about what is understood as what is said.
That last paragraph makes 0 sense to me. White people aren't racist by virtue of being white. Okay, I agree. Therefore diversity training is racist because it MUST assume you're racist? Now that's an assumption you're making. Can you prove it's bad? Do you have why reason why he shouldn't? Tbh I know nothing about the 1619 or 1776 whatever you're talking about. Haven't read either and I don't think I care, it sounds like worthless clickbait. Finally, and most importantly, how is removing the counterpoint an acceptance of the original point? For example, if I say, "bees prefer white flowers over all other colors", and someone makes a counterpoint, "bees don't like flowers at all, they like attacking and killing innocent people, therefore we should kill all the bees", then twitter removes it for hate speech, does that mean twitter agrees with me? No, it means that killing all the bees goes against twitters terms of service.
Oh wow, the first link, tbh I'm surprised, its accurate too. I don't really see the problem though, if they're undergoing gender change and they're taking the right hormones then what's the difference?@devilman666 you should know what the 1619 project is so you can see why myself and @AllThatSweetJazz are pissed of. At least read the wiki page. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_1619_Project
I can already tell why you're pissed off, cause this is dumb click bait designed to piss people off, it's a story for the media, not something actually meaningful, it's argument over a literal opiniom piece. I have to go read a full wikipedia page over some dumbass internet drama? What's next? A wiki page for youtube drama?
If you care so much then why don't you try explaining to me what pisses you off so much? Because even if I do waste my time reading it, that doesn't necessarily mean I will reach the same conclusion you did.@devilman666 “do you have any evidence that Trump's changes were good and Biden's were bad?”
Yes, by reading them.
"Google" "A PLUS, AMAZING WORK!"
Yes, google. You did even get *that* far to check a news source. Glass house meet stone.
“I prove your bias wrong”
You proved nothing. You didn’t even start with a basic google search.
"we may be worse criminals but if you let those criminals in then we'll be really fucked."
That’s *your* bias talking. My statement would be more accurately reiterated as “two criminals are worst than one”. Try some intellectual honesty next time.
“Makes perfect sense, like I'm sure people in third world countries say the same thing about letting in criminals from America.”
If they feel that way then they should. That’s fine.
“Somehow I get the feeling you have no desire for fixing domestic terrorism. What's your solution? Arming teachers and flight attendants?”
I don’t presume to have a magic cure for all terrorism, but proposing a way to slow some of it is better than inviting it in. Then here’s you with nothing to address domestic nor international.
“tell me what's genuinely immoral/wrong with what Biden did?”
He promoted falsehoods and removed the program that was fighting that falsehood.
Winning doesn’t mean they are correct.
“if I feel like it was implied then it's illegal.”
So it’s about your fefes?
“Because implication is as much about what is understood as what is said.”
Yes, both implication and literal interpretation are good, removing that is not. Has nothing to do with being illegal it has everything to do with removing policies that combat racism.
“Therefore diversity training is racist because it MUST assume you're racist?”
It’s not “therefore” from that statement alone, but yes. That is how it works. If you’ve read up on all this stuff and listened to those “diversity” advocates, that’s exactly what is necessitated by the ideology. Trump implemented the policy because of an investigation showing exactly that stuff happening in training in government institutions. I think it might have been FBI, but I forget. I’ll leave you to google that one.
“Now that's an assumption you're making.”
If you don’t follow the news or look at evidence then you can deflect by saying that about everything. You ask if something is real, I showed you the news. You claim is just an assumption, but it’s based on documentation, then you’re going to criticise the documentation and we’re just going to go all the way down the line, but that’s no easy task to try to relay to you 5, 10, or more years of culture war shenanigans and all its history. Start following all this stuff or just stop commenting on things you’re that ignorant of. By all means go listen to opposing opinions about “critical race theory” and “whiteness”, etc, then we can hash out what my assumptions are.
“For example, if I say, "bees prefer white flowers over all other colors", and someone makes a counterpoint…”
Your example has the issue of simply not being representative of the problem.
If you were the one that got banned, that would be a more accurate representation.
Removing a valid counterpoint to an insane claim is implying acceptance of the insanity. At the very least it’s being tolerant of insanity over the valid point, and that is not exemplified by your analogy.
“if they're undergoing gender change and they're taking the right hormones then what's the difference?”
Well, that’s for you to hash out with the activists. It’s a controversial issue with a lot of debate.
Here a quick starting point: taking the right hormones doesn’t undo years of growth under the effects of male hormones. But that’s a whole big insane debate and you would have to wade into that discussion and look at all the evidence for both sides, etc. At one extreme there’s the intersectional feminists that insist belief of one’s gender identity alone would make someone female (distinct from woman) and the other extreme has the trans-exclusionary feminists that insist women are born women and nothing can change that essence. Wade in, have fun.
“it's argument over a literal opinion piece”
An opinion piece? Yes. So you would agree that it shouldn’t be taught as part of a curriculum then? That’s kind of the real issue here. Stop dismissing things as if they’re nothing when you’re ignorant (arguably wilfully) about the details.
“Teachers are using the magazine in their classes to teach subjects ranging from English to History and Social Studies, and their engagement with the project has guided students in creating essays, poetry, visual art, performances, and live events that demonstrate their learning.”
pulitzercenter.org/.../1619-project-sparks-dialogue-and-reflection-schools-nationwide@Fiveanddrive5 hey man let’s take the high road and keep it cool here. I don’t agree with him at all either. But conservatives are supposed to be the adults in the room.
@Fiveansdrive5 sure, just get your wife to chop of yours and cook it up, and I'll eat it. ;)

You guys said it was a disaster when he ran for president the first time so please stop being hypocritical
@ninaneedshelp dems, people like me who stay natural in politics... even trump, himself-we've all been driven mad trying to drill it in your heads the fact that trump couldn't care less about you... this should make it abundantly clear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxMSXhlJLkE
@Sabretooth that was clearly staged and if Biden cared about anyone but himself he wouldn’t have taken away jobs first few days in office and Lord help us
@ninaneedshelp and yet, they are the same people that trump praised later on-no one seems to wanna focus on that obvious issue with that defense.

Maybe the is will remind you of your guys hypocrisyUm excuse me but it wasn’t Trump that wanted to tank the economy it was the Democrats who shut done the states
Clearly it isn’t a pandemic and if lock downs work why are they doing them again?
Well in his defense Fauci said we would be fine and the world health organization hid information from us so of course he wouldn’t
Well stay in your house and be scared all your doing is slowing down the process if you will remember Ebola was a thing you know like you bleed from your eyes and Obama didn’t do a thing in fact Trump wanted to shut down airlines to and from China and they got upset with him for it they want prevention on their own senseless terms
@ninaneedshelp trump doesn't give a damn-and again-we were losing jobs way before we even were thinking of a pandemic-the trade war with china, for example-it was destroying farmers. we've also lost our coal industries-there was a factory that closed back in 2019: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fasduq6aVjU and as for the shutdown... please... you think trump gives a damn? watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QY276Jp34dA

- Anonymous1 moIn a strange way, I see some very good things happening. We all know that Antifa doesn't exist, and these thousands of buildings just burned themselves to the ground. But as you know, Antifa, which doesn't exist, raided a DNC office on Inauguration Day in Portland. But the good news is; the mayor finally allowed the cops to arrest these people who don't exist. That's a huge step up from just turning a blind eye.
And as for the Honduran caravan heading this way, Pelosi will put the military on the border, because we no longer have a use for undocumented voters.
But, yes, taxes will go through the roof, lots of crazy rules will go into place, and more and more companies will flee to China.1|10|1Antif was IN Three Hellish States last Night and the Pipeline is Gone and Millions unemployed today. With Trump out of office and Biden in charge, things are pretty terrible and will end up as a shit storm real quick. DACA is a huge mistake. Why TF should hard working Americans pay for immigrants to live in our country. When DACA was created under the Obama administration (it sucked back then too) we saw an increase of immigrants who were pregnant and we took them in and their child was a US citizen and there go our tax dollars. Personally, I think we should get rid of DACA and either save us all the tax dollars or put those same tax dollars to making college more affordable for us working Americans rather than pay for immigrants to cheat our system0|00|0

To explain: I see one major topic settled. But I also see a lot of potential bushfires.2|00|0 - Biden signed an order that gets rid of the Keystone Pipeline, so that is 8,000 jobs gone plus all the support jobs of hotel workers, restaurants, back office people. All in a day. I hear another 2,000 jobs will be gone on another item by Friday.
Biden will quickly catch up to AOC as she killed 25,000 Amazon jobs for her district. He can easily do that in the first month at this rate. It’s easy to destroy jobs. Very difficult to create them.1|30|0 - Biden is so senile that his handlers insist he wears button-fly trousers so he won't castrate himself with a zipper fly. - Looking a lot better than it did yesterday that's for sure. Much less drama, which is a relief after four years of constant lies and stirring up trouble.1|30|4
Are you paying no attention to the riots in Seattle, Portland and Colorado that went on inauguration day?
Antifa still burning and vandalizing buildings, breaking windows in the DNC offices in Portland, I believe.
The drama isn't over, most of the drama was caused by the hate for President Trump, they still hate President Trump so the drama will not go away, just the media will not cover it unless conservatives are causing trouble. I'm sure CNN, MSNBC and suchlike did not cover the riots out west yesterday. Also I will add the four years of constant lies and stirring up trouble were the actions of the media and certain politicians, not often our President.
- Show All Show Less
You can only pin so much on the media, the president made literally thousands upon thousands of false statements and blatant lies. Doesn't matter how you spin them, they're still false.
You're a big boy, don't act like you're that oblivious. I'm not wasting my time looking up things you already know.
Lol, that is the response of someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.
If you made that statement honestly then you wouldn't have to look up anything.
You are just a parrot, repeating what you hear with no thought to whether it is correct.
In any event I can say that the media and politicians made more false statements about President Trump than false statements that President Trump made to America. Why wouldn't I look it up? Unlike your mindless worshipping of an orange idiot, I don't memorise everything he ever said lol. So of course I'd look it up.
You are objectively wrong, and you can cry about it all you want but he handed them the ammunition. You don't need to wear masks, injecting yourself with bleach will cure coronavirus, coronavirus will disappear like magic? "In Portland, about 200 people clad in black marched to the local Democratic headquarters, where some of them smashed windows and tipped over garbage containers, lighting the contents of one on fire."
"In Seattle, about 150 people marched with large banners that said “Abolish ICE, no cops, prisons, borders, presidents.” Some spray-painted buildings with an anarchist symbol and broke windows, including at a federal courthouse."
How will the country survive such a massive onslaught?

@Paris13 Well, first of all, in another comment, you stated millions of jobs would be lost. Do you even know what the actual number is? 14,000. That's very different from millions, wouldn't you say Paris! And while those jobs are going away, many tens of thousands of new jobs will be created as the clean energy industries expand under Biden, Those people will get other jobs.
Lastly, sometimes it's necessary to make decisions that impact some individuals for the greater good. You can't fix the harm to the environment the pipeline would have caused for generations of people to come. Where is your concern about that? In February, Trump closed the border to China. Do you know how many jobs in the airline, transportation and tourism industry were lost because of that? Hint... it's a lot more than 14,000. Where was your criticism of that? Why did you not call that out? We all understood it was unfortunate for the people who lost theri jobs but necessary for the health and welfare of millions and for the greater good. This is no different.
