Do you still believe that USA is Super power?

Quite frankly the status of super power has very little to do with the condition within its borders. Its almost exclusively about their ability to project power into the world be it soft or hard power. Although even in this regard USA has become a shadow of its former self. Where it used to be the center of a massive coalition with very close friends its now mostly alone, having alienated its allies and shown itself to be an erratic and untrustworthy nation.

The last nail in the coffin was probably USA leaving the Paris accord and attacking NATO members for "not contributing". Its going to take generations for the reputation of USA to be recovered from that.

Technology - we were the best and still are because we imported so many indians and chinese and others. you wouldn't be using the internet if it wasn't for USA capitalistic system to inspire people to create. People want to live here... they don't leave... and go back to their country.

We have largest military and reserve currency. So we have power, like England before us.

So yes, we are, but we are fading like all the others did.

Uh, yeah they still are a superpower. A superpower is defined by dominance in economic and military spheres, the US still boasts the most powerful economy and military, is the country a mess politically, yes, but it's still a powerful mess. China hasn't rounded them yet.

And yes I know of what I speak, I'm a student of political science, I have studied this very subject for nigh on five years.

USA stop being the best country of anything a long time ago, its just that no one wants to take that title because then ignorant immigrant would target this better countries instead of the USA and since the USA is so full of themselves they can't admit they suck even tho that statement would mean less immigrants
