In an ideal world no one would use if.

however between friends where there is no contempt etc behind it being used.

also couple of my mates will use it as a ‘piss taking type greeting’ or something to set them apart, even though known then since school, I would never use it, nor would that expect me to.

closest I can think of is ,
bit like girls greeting* each other. Or two camp gay guys

or couple my limbless mates will make up pretty bad stuff greeting each other

context and reason for using it is really important.

Means the same, hides some of the letters not the meaning. If you are going to sensor because you don't want to say it then sensor it, and if they are sensoring a letter or 2 then the person knows it's not appropriate and says it anyway.

Sure you can say it in a different meaning but that's the same as trying to use any other swear word as a positive.

I've heard people saying my n***** in a similar why to my man or my guy. I don't understand why and don't think its right.

Offense cannot be given, it can only be taken and hence it is the listener who decides how they feel about a given term. What is unarguably true is the history of the word, regardless of spelling, and the negative connotations that come with it. It serves no useful purpose outside of history lessons and hence I'm not a fan. I don't believe that you need to reclaim evil, nor do I believe that it does any good. We don't reclaim rape, for example. We condemn it, no exceptions.
