In my opinion, the biggest obstacle to overcome would be the primaries. It's no secret that the Republican establishment hates him, so they would try very hard to ensure he wouldn't win that- think along the same lines as the Democrats ensuring Sanders never became their candidate.

The actual election he could easily clobber Joe and/or Harris in a fair election especially given how the Biden administration is going now, though that's assuming no behind-the-scenes shenanigans are happening, and let's be honest- of course that will happen again; measures are already being taken to make a lot of shady practices legal now.

Ultimately though, I don't think he will run again, and I don't think voters would enthusiastically support him like in 2016 and 2020. By 2024 he will be up there in years, plus the Trump name becoming yet another political dynasty leaves a sour taste in Republican voters' mouths. Unless the Republican showing for 2024 is total garbage, I don't see him running. It's more likely that one of his kids would run, but I don't think any of them would be likely to win the primary, with possibly one exception who I don't think is interested.

This is my prediction:

No Trump will EVER be able to win over the sleazy Republican party, but those same Republicans will kiss his ass for his endorsement. Pieces of shit like Mitt won't stand a chance of getting the nomination. If the Republicans can put a fighter like Trump, I think Trump would do everything in his power to support that candidate. But if the Republicans put up a piece of crap, Trump will run as a third party, and destroy the Republicans. Ultimately, the Dems will win, and I'd be happy if that happened. I'm going to love seeing the absolute chaos that the Dems will come up with in four years from now. We already have men in women's sports, and it's just going to go downhill from there.
Joe is a puppet, so I'm sure we'll be going into another war soon, and I don't think Americans will be accepting of this.

So in a nutshell, Trump will be saying: "Put up a decent option, or I'll destroy all of you piss ant Republicans. And I for one, would support that. At this point, America needs to hit rock bottom, if we're going to save this country from the woke morons.

I personally think that the most likely scenario is that DeSantis will run and receive the Don's endorsement, which will make him the obvious Republican (voter) choice. I'll be surprised if DeSantis doesn't run, in large part for that reason.

Ron would be an awesome choice, but when the other Republicans find out that Trump is supporting him, they will trash him. I'm not sure if he can take that. I just don't see a Republican going up against the insane woke moronic party, ever again.

There's a fairly credible rumor that Trump is going to run for a state office in Florida. I could definitely see him going for governorship while DeSantis goes for the White House. Frankly I don't think most Republican voters give much of a crap what people like McConnell or Romney say, and will rally behind an aggressive Republican with a spine long before a soft-spoken RINO. And honestly I think that resonates with the moderates and independents a lot better too.

As a white male, I think Joe is on the right track. 3 weeks ago I started cranking out job applications, but I've been saying I'm a black, lesbian woman. So far I've been getting tons of responses, so I hope they overlook my male, whiteness at the interviews. (no one is perfect)

Only if the Republicans controlling swing states like Georgia are able to suppress the urban vote. If everyone who wants to vote is able to vote, he has no chance. Every day more young people become eligible to vote and more old white men die.

Then they will keep the number of polling places in the urban counties to a bare minimum, and eliminate early voting, insuring long lines in the cities while in rural counties it will be quick and easy. The Republicans know that if every eligible voter turned out, they would have no chance to win statewide office. So as long as they are able to control the legislature they will do everything they can to inconvenience likely Democratic voters. Expect federal lawsuits.
