Just declare the income on your tax return. Onlyfans sends a copy to IRS, so IRS knows you had the income. You can probably file without declaring the income and not get audited. But you will get a letter in a year or two from IRS (and maybe your state tax authority) notifying you of the tax you have to pay on the amount you didn't declare, PLUS interest and penalties. So pay it now, or pay it later with interest and penalties.

I read that where I live in Canada, most employers will send copies of your employment records to the government so even if you do not declare your income, they will have records of your employment but pay your taxes cause prison is not a nice place to live.

If you need to add that income as part of your taxes, you'd better file that form too. The IRS gets a listing from every company who they sent forms out for. If the IRS checks your taxes, and you omitted that info, AND it results in you owing more in taxes, they'll send you a letter letting you know you messed up and you owe $x amount.

Onlyfans has already reported it to the IRS, and likely your state agency if your state has income tax, so if you DON'T report it, that's an automatic red flag.
